Cadence-wise, Tdot illdude uses a singsong and bouncy one.
He penned this statement in the music video’s description via YouTube,
“Everyone is going through something. I want to let the people who look to me for inspiration know that they’re not alone. We’re all pushing through these times together, and we’re going to stay down till we come up.”
During the first verse, Tdot illdude delivers rhymes about his steps toward self-improvement and a previous job that provided him with a never-ending cash flow. He spits, “Serving work in front of neighbors, learned the game from off the pavement/ 1st-3rd, collecting payments/Hit a goal and keep on aiming.” Elsewhere, Tdot goes in-depth not only about his work ethic, but also about being an esteemed plug. “I mapped out my goals. Then I strategized/Make my dreams come true/I had to actualize,” he raps. Before getting into the second array of bars, Tdot confidently declares that he’ll never lose his touch in the game.

All he did was have some weed/Why he still in cages?” Then, TDot illdude throws out some words of wisdom before the bridge seeps in.
