Wavvii Baby tells her casual fling that time is really of the essence in “Tonight.” The aggressive drill-ridden beat gives the Strabian goat leeway to flow in a copacetic manner.
“Tonight”
Over the Jay Oh-featured record, Wavii Baby details her love language, amongst other things. Off the bat, the rapstress cuts to the chase about how she feels about beauty.
Given the context, this feeling is also mutual. After seeing Wavvii’s many talents, her companion is impressed and then dubs her an “eater.” Next, the “LVLS” spitter details their sensual endeavors.
She says, “as soon as I hop out of these Dolces, I’m on go, babe.”
Following this, Wavvii speaks about being wary of trusting others. She raps, “Gun on my hip when I’m in the city/Can never be too cautious.” Additionally, the elite rhymester speaks about her luxurious assets and how she shows some TLC.
“You hella loud/The neighbors is mad, but we don’t care,” Wavvii spits.
The rest of Wavii Baby’s verse in “Tonight” further explains her stance on relationships and how much they mean to her.
She delivers, “I ain’t even got friends like that/But with you, I’m too friendly.”
Wavvii’s Fans’ Reactions
After “Tonight” dropped, users flooded the comments with positivity.
One user wrote, “It’s the start of a new era watch how Wavvii run it up.” Another added their two cents, “Nice. I love the lyrics. Never stop heading towards dreams. Get it all.” Someone said, “Keep that shit going up love it lyrics is A1 continue strive and keep this shit going DREAM BIG.”
Wavvii Baby is based in Long Beach, California. She recently launched the Strabians Worldwide movement, and her latest single, “Tonight,” has been performing well since its release. It is the first ever Cali Drill record to hit airwaves, and it also helped land her a performance at the Harlem Gives concert in NYC alongside Dave East and other notable artists from the city.
Aside from this, she’s released several freestyles for her weekly series, including Kendrick Lamar’s “Father Time” and Drake’s “Fair Trade.” Three months ago, she released “LVLS,” which was accompanied by a visual.
