What happened to Cardi B’s birthday freestyle?
I think its safe to say when you think of the year 2017, Cardi B’s name should be right at the top of the list. She had one heck of a year! The “Bodack Yellow” artist just celebrated her 25th birthday last week (October 11th). Not only did her fans show her love but pretty much the entire music industry! She received thousands of comments and over 2 million views.
Amongst the thousands of fans who wished Cardi B a Happy Birthday, always was her bae Offest. He captioned a post stating “Happy bday u are amazing to me you got it our da mudd no help nobody was believing at first but that made you go harder u not weak u take care ya whole family and me I love you.” How sweet! #Goals.
On the other hand, a lot her her fans wondered if she would post a freestyle for her birthday like she said she would. The day after her birthday Cardi apologized to “Bardi Gang” mentioning that the freestyle she promised would be delayed. She posted the video on her Instagram and Twitter.
“Hey ya’ll, hey Bardi gang”, said Cardi. “I know yall mad at me but don’t be mad at me though. I know I said I was going to drop a freestyle on my birthday or whatever. You know what I’m saying. But my label or whatever they got other plans…so I think it’s delayed.” Cardi later explained that the freestyle is already done and that the delay is not her fault. She also promises the track is “Poppin” so listen out!
