Celebrity Mixed Reactions To JAY-Z’s 4:44 Album

As we already know, about a week ago week ago (salute to Bobby Schmurda) JAY-Z dropped what is no doubt his most emotional and conscious album, the now platinum 4:44.  With what seems as a montage of  Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, and American Gangster,  JAY-Z gives fans answers to some of the most controversial events in his life that we all had questions about, without letting us down lyrically. The most talked about album this week even in the celebrity world, good or bad.  Good reviews included from rapper Kendrick Lamar calling Jigga “Master Teacher” to singer and reality star K. Michelle tweeting, “Thank God the heavens heard our cry. We get to listen to some REAL RAP LYRICS. Good music do something to me.” Check the posts.

Other celebs included comedian/actor Kevin Hart and former NFL receiver Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson branding him “Legendary” status on Twitter:

Some had funnier reactions, like the NBA Championship Golden State Warriors own Andre Iguodala:

As well as San Antonio Spurs small forward Rudy Gay.

However, with positive comes negative.  Because of the “..In the future, other n*****z playing football with your son” bar in “Kill Jay-Z” , his “I Got The Keys” collaborator,  Future clapped back on Instagram:

Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie also put his two cents on the album, criticizing Hov’s remarks regarding “money to the ear pics“. Click here to find out what he said. (Credit: DomisLIVENews/Youtube.)

JAY-Z also received negative criticism from R&B crooner Eric Benet.  On the same “Kill JAY-Z” track, he compared his infidelity to Benet‘s former relationship with actress Halle Berry.  Benet didn’t take it too kindly as he exchanged his voice for “twitter fingers“:

50 Cent joined the critical bandwagon, as he called the album, “Golf-Course Music” and “too smart, too ivy league” for the younger generation of hip hop fans. (Credit: Daily Exclusive)

Hate it or love it, no pun intended, this album is definitely the most controversial and interesting trend for this week.  What are your views? Make sure to comment below on your 4:44 experience.
