Salutations FM Trendsetters! The streets are spitting out heat in the game right now. Within the past few years been fan favorite collaborative albums, such as Kanye West and Jay-Z (Watch The Throne), or Jadakiss and Fabolous (Freddy vs. Jason: Friday On Elm Street) just to name a couple. The streets done did it again. The self proclaimed hardest emcee out and the paranoid Harlemite from the East Side are going to release what probably is going to be one of the best projects out for the year. David “Styles P” Styles and Dave East will be releasing the critically acclaimed “Beloved” on FridayOctober 5th, under Mass Appeal and Def Jam Records.

The album art uses a play on both artists’ similar first name “David” moniker, as it depicts the biblical story of David slaying Goliath, and holding the severed Phillistine’s head in victory. This album will tell a story of two Davids, growing on different sides of the gritty New York streets. When Harlem meets Yonkers. Last time this happen, it was on a DMX album (N***az Done Started Something) 20 years ago. The art explains and sets the mood for the project, of these two “Davids” overcoming the Goliaths they dealt with in life, whether in the streets or in the music industry.
The street masterpiece will feature production from legendary Scram Jones, Chase N. Cash, and Styles P’s son Noah Styles (Rare Breed), among others. The project will also feature the L.O.X., the Bronx’s own Tish Hyman, and many more artists. Here is the official track listing:
