New Orleans natives August Alsina and Lil Wayne collaborate on Alsina’s new track ‘Why I Do It’. It’s been awhile since we’ve heard August due to the fact he’s been battling some medical issues but we’re glad to hear he’s back and working. Both artists tell us that we do not need to question their motives in this music industry, they know why they do it and that’s enough. It’s none of our business. August echoes throughout the song, “I ain’t gotta tell you why I do it”. He lets us know that his grind never stops no matter what and he doesn’t have to prove anything to us. We’re hoping that the release of this single means August Alsina’s sophomore album is coming very soon!
