Kevin Hart has earned his place as more than just a top-tier comedian; he’s also a sharp entrepreneur who has strategically built and expanded his personal brand. That brand continues to evolve, further securing his status as one of comedy’s most enduring figures. His latest move on the business front comes through Hartbeat Productions, which has announced a new digital series centered on fitness, “Boss Moves.”
Ron Everline Leads “Boss Moves”
The series, titled “Boss Moves,” spotlights Ron “Boss” Everline, Kevin Hart’s longtime personal trainer. But Everline is more than just the man behind Hart’s workouts—he’s a powerful example of how to turn adversity into advantage. After facing what many would label a failed career path, he managed to reinvent himself, creating new opportunities not only for his own growth but for others as well. In a profile for The Moderate Leader Platform, Everline reflects on his journey, explaining that success was anything but straightforward. His road was marked by unexpected detours and a dream that initially fell apart—yet that very dream became the bedrock of the achievements he enjoys today.
On Everline
In the interview, Everline reveals how his NFL dreams crumbling initially blinded him to his true calling.
“Everline was so focused on his NFL rejection that he lost track of his real purpose to the world.”
When the centerpiece of his identity collapsed, he redirected his passion toward fitness coaching. Although he focused on building this new career, greater truths did not come until later.
Per the interview, the interaction with a client served as a catalyst. It was that interaction that led Everline to recognize his mission extended beyond personal training. The profile captures his revelation: ”
It [his mission] actually wasn’t to become the best fitness coach in the world; it was about helping others succeed in their life and career through fitness. Once he made that change, he created the ‘Just Train’ brand desiring his brand to be bigger than him.”
Little did he know that this transformation in mindset would lead to a massive expansion. Today, Everline’s client base includes not only Kevin Hart but also a roster of celebrity clientele, including Ne-Yo, Christina Milian, and Trey Songz. And incredibly, his mission continues to expand. The upcoming series serves as a working example. Hart’s production company has offered a platform to amplify his brand and mission, potentially touching countless others.
The Concept
According to a recently dropped press release, on “Boss Moves,” Everline will host both celebrities and “everyday bosses” from various industries in conversations that explore the setbacks, discipline, and drive that have fueled their successes.”
But what distinguishes “Boss Moves” from typical interview formats is its dynamic setting. Deep discussions will unfold during intense workout sessions. As the release notes state, “The workouts intensify as the conversations deepen, highlighting the link between physical grit and personal growth.” However, viewers won’t merely observe—they’ll participate. It is further noted that Everline will periodically lead exercises designed for at-home engagement.
“It’s not just about watching people work. It’s about proving that anyone can step up, put in the work, and become the boss of their craft, career, or life.”
“Boss Moves”: Real Talk, Real Work, Real Soon
The series premieres December 9th on the LOL Network, with new episodes releasing biweekly on Tuesdays. A trailer is already available, offering glimpses of the show’s distinctive energy. However, of note is Everline’s enthusiasm. Per the coach
“We’re bringing that same energy to the screen: real talk, real work, and a few laughs. If someone feels inspired to move or level up their mindset, that’s a win.”
That is a great hope with vast potential.
The Ingredients of Ideas Worth Sharing
Truly, purpose, growth, community, and self-efficacy are powerful components. It’s not always found in every offering. But when they are all found in one program, then that is a project worth sharing.
