Did you think La Flare lost fans? Well, the latest petition to allow Travis Scott to perform at Coachella almost proved otherwise. The petition titled “Bring Travis Back To Coachella” reportedly received over 70,000 signatures! Fans are determined to bring Travis back as they even suggested Kanye West bring him out.

Change.org hosted the petition, and Travis Scott Coachella petition has been one of their most successful thus far. Although this may be true, TMZ reported that they hit change.org to gather information after noticing a significant drop in signatures. At first, about 70,000 signatures showed, then less than 7,500. Change.org let on that “fraudulent activity,” and several signatures had to go. Indeed, there has to be a plausible explanation for this.

Has Change.Org, Changed Their Mind About Travis Scott’s Petition?

It seems now Change.org officially removed Travis Scott’s Coachella petition. Indeed it was a great effort, but now all left is a plethora of “ban Travis Scott” petitions.

Astroworld was one of the most tragic incidents to rock the world on a grand scale. With a reported 10 deaths, the “concert from hell” left a mark on many. Travis Scott’s career has suffered dramatically as he was removed from the petitioned headlining Coachella while losing endorsements with Nike, Fortnite, Dior, and BAPE, to name a few. He also suffered from being tossed off of other music festivals.

Gradually the world has moved on but has yet to forget the tragic event. On a positive note, concert crews have given a closer look at concert safety. Music festivals might be just a bit safer with safety checks, beefed-up security, and a low tolerance for disorderly conduct.

Determined to win his glory back

Travis Scott’s Astroworld festival will reign in history. Unfortunately, his musical career has suffered tremendously because of it. Cancel culture is definitely taking a front seat in his life, but the Hip-Hop world seems to be about second chances. Travis Scott’s petition-making super fans feel cheated by Coachella replacing him with Harry Styles. Some also side with Travis and his stance that it simply was not his fault.

Seemingly, Scott is trying to get his career back on track. In December, he promoted his album, Utopia, by changing his Instagram bio to reflect the album. A link to his single, “Escape Plan/Mafia,” is also available. After praises for taking time away from the scene to focus on mental health, the fans finally spotted him out. Pictures of Travis, Michael Jordan, Mark Wahlberg, and others on a golf course gave security after he’d been on a hiatus.

All in all, we don’t think that even with petitions Travis Scott won’t be at Coachella or generally on a stage any time soon. News that he may appear at Rolling Loud is still on the shelf. Still, many wonders if by letting him back on stage, are we asking for an Astroworld part 2?
