Despite a frightening robbery involving PnB Rock, Ski Mask claims he isn’t deterred from walking out with flashy jewelry. Instead, he’s counting on positive energy and precautions to keep him safe.
Ski Mask Speaks On LA
TMZ caught up with the “Faucet Failure” rapper this Thursday at LAX (Sep 29) to chat about his impressive chain. The large piece of jewelry, inspired by the popular Japanese series Yu Gi Oh, casually hung around Ski Mask’s neck as he strolled through the airport. With his name engraved widely around the shiny piece, it’s unmistakable who the owner is.
Apparently, Ski Mask prefers to keep his chains and rings on during TSA searches. According to him, it’s too long of a process to put everything back on. Of course, the “Stokeley” album rapper had some thoughts about the recent events surrounding PnB Rock. Following his death at a Los Angeles restaurant, several arrests have been made, and charges have already been booked.

LA Mourns PnB
In a heartfelt message, the West Coast rapper called out his own city for the increased violence in recent years. In addition, DJ Drama, who worked closely with PnB Rock over his career, pointed out the heightened violence in LA as the culprit. When many fans pointed the finger at Rock’s longtime girlfriend for dropping their location, Drama focused on the bigger picture.
“The whole situation isn’t right, but people are hungry out here, so you just gotta be more cautious of where u sit down and eat,” Ski Mask continued.
When asked about his way of feeling secure, he has a simple yet effective answer. “Don’t post my locations, and I don’t really go out like that,” he expounded. “I have really good energy, and…I don’t carry that energy with myself.”
While The Slump God was aware of the news of a 17-year-old arrest, The subsequent charging of his stepmother was a big surprise. “Goddamn, the whole family?” He exclaimed. “Nah, that’s crazy, bro!”
