Jaden has officially dropped one of the hottest singles this summer titled “BYE.” The beat echoes summer’s vibe as it blends soft rock with warm experimental arrangements. This record comes first off his upcoming album, CTV3 Day Trippers Edition. The album also has guest appearances from Justin Bieber, Joey Badass, ¿Téo?, and Babe Rainbow.

The lyrics, penned by Jaden, illustrate a scenic trip that could result in a requited love. He hopes to ignite the flame with him and his former lover during his route to a beach.

I’m feeling Santa Barbara strong/She got her face in a phone, she got places to go,” he sings in a mesmerizing register. “Well, at least let me take you home/There’s some tequila in here, I’m not tasting it though.”

In a statement, he speaks more on the song’s message:

“I was sad when I made this song, but I’m happy it’s out. Welcome to CTV3. Welcome to trippy summer. It was the time of our lives.”

“BYE” comes fresh off the heels of his self-directed video for “Photograph.” As a whole, the song explores his feelings of distress during a heartbreak. The basis of the visual finds him immersed in a body of water.

He describes his previous album as a psychedelic movement of peace.

“It is the end of multiple eras for me as an artist, and I am so excited to share it with the world. So let rainbows and flowers be with you.” Jaden adds.
