Jim Jones is being called out as a hypocrite after posting on Instagram about the fellow rapper Drakeo The Ruler’s death in Los Angeles on Sunday. Jones shared a tribute post to the late rapper with a caption that had some advice to others in the hip-hop industry. He is urging people to “move [tactically]” and value their lives more.  “Rip to this brother drakeo this is sad,” he wrote about Drakeo’s passing.

“To all rappers I urge u to protect urself start to move tactical. Preservation of life is everything they do not value our lives anymore we are targeted.”

Last week, Jones got into a physical altercation with Freddie Gibbs at Prime 112 in Miami and is also naming his album after the restaurant where the incident took place. In 2019, he allegedly got into a verbal beef with 6ix9ine. In an alleged recording from a wiretapped phone, Jones said, “He ain’t a gang member no more. That’s what Shotti need to make sure he do. Tell that n***a that he ain’t a gang member no more… Shotti need to expose him.” This reflects the hypocrisy that many hip-hop fans are tweeting about Jones.

One fan tweeted saying, “…Jim how you gonna whip Gibbs ass then turn around in your RIP post to Drakeo say you urge rappers to move tactical?”  He continued saying, “Bro you part of the phucking problem. We went from black on black crime to rapper on rapper crime.”

No further comments from Jones and his team about the comments.
