Juice WRLD “Legends Never Die” projected sell 400k-440k first week
Juice WRLD’s highly anticipated posthumous album Legends Never Die released Friday, spiking reports that the album is headed for a massive first week.
The overall excitement from the late rapper’s fans caused his Spotify page to temporarily crash.
According to HitsDailyDouble, Legends Never Die “is tracking toward an opening of 400-440k in total activity, with projected on-demand audio streams expected to reach over 400 millions, enough to give Legends the biggest single week streaming total of any album so far this year.”
Currently, The Weeknd’s album, After Hours, holds this achievement due to it earning 444,000 units in its first week.
The 15-track album has collaborations with Trippie Redd, Marshmello and Halsey. His family’s goal was to show how much Juice appreciated his collaborators and his musical process.
“Juice dedicated his music to his fans and, now more than ever, we hope this album brings some reprieve to everyone during these unsettling times,” says his family in an Instagram post. “Juice’s legacy will live forever: LEGENDS NEVER DIE!”
