Kanye West continued to keep the momentum high for his highly-anticipated album, DONDA, by throwing yet another listening party. This time around, Ye hosted the listening session at Soldier Field, which is located in Chicago. The most absurd promotional act of that evening was when West set himself on fire. Luckily, it was more of a stunt than a mysterious cry for help.
Along with previous LP parties, this one was held at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, where West currently resides amidst the completion of DONDA.
Another significant moment from the DONDA listening party was when West re-enacted his marriage ceremony to ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Amid the head scratches, the fashion mogul stepped onstage wearing a white Balenciaga Couture wedding dress. The two did this special scene while West’s “No Child Left Behind” blared through the speakers.
DaBaby and MarilynManson, who are currently facing cancel culture, also made an appearance. A track that once included Jay-Z now carries a verse by the “Ball If I Want To” megastar.
Instead of getting applause from fans, they continue to question DONDA’s release. One wrote, “Please for the love of god drop this album,” while another fan penned in all caps, “OKAY? NOW WHERE IS IT?”
Given these points, it’s time for West to stop cutting corners and instead put DONDA front and center for the whole world to hear.
