This is not Kanye’s first time working with or expressing his admiration for the brand. Previously, West worked at a storefront in Chicago as a young man in the 90s.
At the announcement of the partnership, the Global Head of Gap Brand, Mark Breitbard, says the company is “excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his YEEZY brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership.”
