Kanye West’s Yeezy Brand inks deal with Gap
Kanye West signed a 10-year partnership with the brand, Gap.
The rapper and designer is collaborating with the brand to launch Yeezy Gap, a line for women, men and children.
This is not Kanye’s first time working with or expressing his admiration for the brand. Previously, West worked at a storefront in Chicago as a young man in the 90s.
At the announcement of the partnership, the Global Head of Gap Brand, Mark Breitbard, says the company is “excited to welcome Kanye back to the Gap family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his YEEZY brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership.”
The press release explains it will be “under West’s creative direction, the Yeezy design studio will develop the new line to deliver modern, elevated basics for men, women, and kids at accessible price points.”
According to Gap’s website, the Yeezy Gap clothing line will drop in stores and online sometime next year.
