Kodak Black is paying it forward even while in rehab. The rapper has spent a little over $14,000 on over 5,000 turkeys to help families across South Florida for Thanksgiving. According to HipHopDX, his team handed out turkeys in seven locations over three days. Some of the locations included Sistrunk, Sunland, Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, North Miami, Little Haiti, and Golden Acres.

TMZ provided a video of his team handing out the turkeys with his song “Feelin’ Peachy” playing in the background. Check it out.

Last year, the rapper spent $15,000 on over 1,000 turkeys that Kodak handed out to hundreds of people at the E. Pat Larkins Community Center in his hometown of Pompano Beach.

Kodak Black Focusing On Himself

While Kodak Black could not attend the turkey giveaway, he continues to work on himself in rehab. He has reportedly entered a 90-day residential program after failing a drug test that violated his 2019 case of attempting to secure a gun. With Black recently being in the news for a potential suicide attempt and a 46-month sentence, let’s hope that the treatment serves him well.

Paying it forward in 2021

Aside from legal troubles, the rapper has been giving back to many this year. In July, he donated 100 air conditioners to residents of the Golden Acres projects. “We do it for the projects, we do it for the projects. The people relying on just enough cash to survive. We’ll get you all ACs man, we out here.” In October, he also donated money and gifts to breast cancer survivors for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and $20,000 to the two-year-old daughter of a police officer who passed away from COVID-19 in September.

New Baby and Music

Black is also expecting his second child with Maranda Johnson after four years of dating. The baby is due later this year or early next year. In August, he released his latest song, “Before I Go,” with fellow rapper Rod Wave.
