Kodak Black and his girlfriend, Maranda Johnson are expecting a baby girl soon. TMZ reported that Kodak Black is expecting, per Kodak’s lawyer Bradford Cohen. Cohen says that the couple has been dating for four years and are expecting the baby late this year or early next year. The artist has received support from his listeners and celebrity friends on his news of a new baby.
Becoming a father
Kodak Black showed his excitement of being a father on his Twitter account by tweeting how he will behave with his children. He posted a tweet saying, “Been Practicing Since Yesterday How I’m Finna B Callin Dem Lil Niggas Phones & Shit … Runnin They Ass Off.” What exciting news to be getting, with everything that’s going on in the world. This is wonderful news for the family and friends who will be in the child’s life. Kodak Black is getting ready to be a father and has been working on his music, according to his Twitter post. But he has also said nothing is more important than his daughter that’s on the way.

Kodak Black helping in the community
With him being out of jail, Kodak has been doing charity work and giving back to the community. According to TMZ, he purchased 100 A.C units, which cost $12,500, and went out himself to deliver them to the people who live in Golden Acres projects in Pompano Beach, Florida. Florida has sweltering weather, and the summertime is the worst for people who live there; Kodak was thoughtful in taking an extra step in helping people in the community.
While Black is expecting, Cardi B and her husband Offset welcomed a second child to the family. Cardi B posted a picture with her husband and baby on Instagram to show her fans the good news.
