Lil Baby Claps Back To Paparazzi In Spanish After Kanye Question

It seems as if Lil Baby doesn’t want to be bothered by paparazzi after a video dropped with the rapper declining to comment on Kanye West’s ongoing personal issues, since he responds to them in Spanish. The footage, captured on February 11, shows Baby with Meek Mill. They were leaving a Super Bowl party at famous restaurateur Salt Bae’s Los Angeles Steakhouse in Beverly Hills.

While wading through a stream of reporters, Lil Baby simply responded with “Me no hablo Ingles” in Spanish, when asked about the ongoing drama in Kanye’s divorce. The Donda artist has been calling out his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, on Instagram over the last few weeks.

Kanye has also lashed out at Kim’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, and fellow artists Billie Eilish and Kid Cudi. These could be some topics that reporters wanted Lil Baby to address, though not in Spanish.

A recap of Kanye’s drama

The social media war between Kanye and Kim seems to have started when Ye was denied access to his daughter Chicago’s birthday party last month. He later informed fans that Travis Scott gave him the address, allowing him to attend the party.

Recently, Kanye has also exchanged words with Kid Cudi over Cudi’s friendship with Pete Davidson. This resulted in Cudi being cut from DONDA 2, Ye’s latest album, which will drop on February 22.

In recent weeks, Billie Eilish has also come under fire from West over an alleged Travis Scott diss. After stopping to help a struggling fan at her Atlanta concert, Eilish commented, “I wait for people to be okay before I keep going.” Kanye then blasted the pop star on Instagram, demanding an apology. Billie responded by saying that her comment had nothing to do with Trav.

Meanwhile, Kanye and actress Julia Fox announced their breakup earlier this week. The couple had been dating since early January.

What Lil Baby’s response could mean

Like Eilish, Lil Baby will headline Coachella this year. The My Turn rapper’s reluctance to answer questions about Ye’s issues in languages, other than Spanish, could be an effort to avoid becoming a target himself.
