Lil Nas X’s Montero (CMBYN) Expected to Debut at #1 on Billboard Hot 100

Lil Nas X gets the last laugh as his latest single continues to climb the Billboard charts amid every possible controversy. According to Chart Data, Lil Nas X is expected to receive his second #1 hit with Montero. While the visual hasn’t been well received, it does serve as the perfect catalyst to drive the song up the charts. The problematic visual released almost a week ago has the public, pastors, and parents in an uproar in response to it. With so much publicity surrounding the song, good or bad, people are listening. So much so that it’s anticipated to hit #1.

Through all of this, Lil Nas X is thoroughly enjoying his latest rollout. Time and again, the 21-year old proves he is a master at trolling. Tweeting;

The latest news surrounding Lil Nas X is that Nike has filed suit and sought a restraining order against MSCHF. Only the Brooklyn-based product studio that created the “Satan Shoe” claiming to contain “one drop of human blood” was named. 665 pairs of the shoe sold out in just one minute, and Nike’s restraining order requests that MSCHF not fulfill the shipment of the 666th pair. Nike’s lawsuit also asks that the shoes already shipped be recalled and is asking for triple the damages.

I can only imagine what Lil Nas X and his team have planned for his debut album’s roll-out expected this summer. We do know that with each release, the antics get more extreme. Either way, that steep descent from Heaven to Hell on a stripper pole is sending Lil Nas X to the top of the Billboard 100.
