Megan Thee Stallion Calls Out Skeptics While Sharing Images Of Her Foot Injury

While celebrating the success of “WAP”, a collaboration with rapper Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion addresses skeptics of her foot injury.

In a post and delete via Instagram on Wednesday, She shares photos of her foot where she was shot this past July. Megan also claps back at critics that accused her of lying about the injuries she sustained.

Her statement in the caption reads:

“Lol what I have learned abt majority of the people on social media is y’all like to hear bad news before good news, a lie spreads quicker than the truth, and y’all really be believing the sh– YALL make up. I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. why would I lie abt getting shot? Why are y’all so upset that I don’t wanna be in the bed sad? Why y’all upset that I can walk ? I got my stitches out my feet like 2 weeks ago and I was ready to go celebrate WAP going number1… I usually don’t address internet bullsh– but y’all people are so sick! God was really watching over me and I’m healing so well! Sorry I’m not as sad and miserable as a lot of y’all lol but ima keep being Megan Thee Mf STALLION.”

On July 12th, Megan was a victim of a shooting that occurred after she left a party with rapper Tory Lanez. There have not been many details released about what occurred as it is still under investigation.

According to TMZ, Tory was arrested on a felony gun charge after the incident. There has not been confirmation on who is the alleged shooter. Tory has yet to make a statement on what occurred that night.

In the midst of the situation, Megan and Cardi B continue to celebrate their single “WAP”.  According to Billboard, “WAP” is now the second greatest streaming week amongst songs by women. The song earned 93 million streams in the first week.

Cardi and Megan announced their Cashapp giveaway as apart of the celebration for the success of their song.
