Megan Thee Stallion Launches Pete & Thomas Foundation In Memory Of Late Parents

Megan Thee Stallion Something for Thee Hotties, curator is launching a brand-new nonprofit organization. She describes the foundation as one of the “most significant endeavors” of her career.

Appreciating Family

The Pete & Thomas foundation bears her parents’ names; Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete Jr, in honor of the values they taught her. . This foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on raising awareness and conducting programmatic activities. More specifically, education, housing, children, seniors, health and wellness, and so forth.

“My family raised me to help others and give back. So I’m incredibly proud to be in a position to accomplish that goal. I have a responsibility to use my platform to make a meaningful impact in lives. Specifically, those who may not have access to resources and support services,” said the “Captain Hook” rapper.

‘Savage’ Rapper’s Philanthropic Plans

There are currently several initiatives in place to support the educational component. Firstly, scholarships and additional resources for those from underserved areas. Secondly and most importantly, The Pete and Thomas Foundation team will address many seniors’ housing needs. There are; however single mothers experiencing “financial emergencies or natural disasters” included as well. Thirdly, the foundation will assist with health and wellness initiatives through mental health, food insecurity, and cancer care.

The day of the unveiling of the foundation on Feb. 15 is Megan’s birthday. In addition to a tribute to her parents, the three-time Grammy winner gave financial assistance to a student. As well as to a cancer survivor and an elderly gentleman on the same day as her 27th birthday. Another key point, a few months after graduating from college in December, Megan Thee Stallion touched upon her charitable side while in an interview with Rolling Stone. She said she would stay faithful to her pledge to open an assisted living facility in her hometown of Houston after revealing her charitable initiatives in 2019.
