In a new episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, Mike Tyson confronted rapper Boosie Badazz over his controversial, transphobic remarks regarding Dwayne Wade’s daughter. Iron Mike pressed Boosie as to why he publicly critcized Wade for supporting his daughter coming out as part of the LGBTQ+ community.

At roughly ten minutes into the interview, Tyson exclaimed, “Why do you say things about people who might be a homosexual? Why do you say that about them? Do you feel there’s a possibility that you’re a homosexual and by disrespecting them it furthers yourself from being a homosexual? I’m thinking you may like homosexuals.” While Boosie essentially doubled down on his position, he acknowledged that he needs to “shut the f-ck up” sometimes, with Tyson stating, “Who the f-ck am I to say anything? What I think don’t mean a motherf-cking thing.”

Earlier this year, Dwayne Wade revealed that his 12 year-old daughter, Zaya, came out as transgender. While the Wade family was widely praised for raising awareness about LGBTQ+ issues, they faced some backlash from people including Boosie Badazz and Young Thug.
