On Sunday June 12, controversial personalities DJ Vlad and NLE Choppa found themselves in a Twitter Beef. The spat began in response to the news that Canadian singer Justin Bieber cancelled performances following paralysis in his face. This was the start of their beef.
NLE Choppa and DJ Vlad Twitter Beef Explained
NLE Choppa made claims that he could cure the singer’s ailments. This was just one example of the rapper’s bizarre medical claims. Prominent interviewer, DJ Vlad, took issue with Choppa’s claims. He referred to the young rapper as a “snake oil salesman” and claimed the 19-year-old was engaging in harmful misinformation.
In response to this, NLE Choppa accused DJ Vlad of being an informant for the police. In reference to a longstanding conspiracy theory among some that Vlad’s interviews, which frequently feature illicit confessions, land rappers in trouble with authorities. On top of this Choppa called him a “culture vulture”; a common critique among Vlad’s detractors. The spat stopped after Vlad pointed out Choppa’s habit of outrageous medical claims. Choppa reiterreated his opinions on the interviewer and asked him to cease posting articles about him. DJ Vlad said he would not do so.
As of right now, that is where the beef stands. However, given the fact that DJ Vlad confirmed he will not cease in posting articles and videos about NLE Choppa and his medicinal insights, it seems more than likely that the two will continue their beef at a later time. Both men seem to not have backed down or officially apologized, meaning the beef is not officially squashed. DJ Vlad is no stranger to conflict, so it’ll be worth keeping an eye on these two in case things pop off in the future.
