Grammy Award-winning songstress Stephanie Mills will headline the benefit concert featuring the biggest hits from a long list of crowd favorites. Among the other musical legends are En Vogue, Miki Howard, B. Howard, Atlantic Starr, and Tony! Toni! Toné! “We are excited to have so many legends for this year’s line-up,” North Miami Mayor and NoMi Fest Founder Alix Desulme, Ed.D., said. “Like in years past, this year’s concert allows us to party with a purpose – to allow us to have fun while raising money to help residents who need help maintaining one of life’s basic essentials – water.”

Black History Month Celebration At The NoMi Festival

A special award ceremony will also take place as part of the festival celebrating Black History Month, recognizing local trailblazers. North Miami Mayor Desulme and Miami-Dade County Public Schools Board Member Steve Gallon, III, will co-host the Mayor’s Conversation Series featuring former Ohio State Senator and CNN Political Commentator Nina Turner. The event will also feature a lively after-party.
