#FMSpotlight: Numbaa 7 Drops Single “Smile Today” (Listen)

Numbaa 7 is an up and coming rapper learning how to swim in the rap game. He is determined to make a name for himself in the world of music, and is motivated to continue the legacy of his mentor. Now, he uses this loss as another motivating factor to push his career ahead. Numbaa 7 just released a single ahead of his new project release.

History Between Numbaa 7 and Mo3

H$M signed Numbaa 7 in 2019. Mo3 took him under his arms, becoming his mentor. 7 and Mo3 jumped into the deep end together and made a big splash with a hit. “Play Wit ‘Em” became a Dallas anthem. The song’s video has stacked up 5.7 million views on YouTube.

Mo3 was tragically killed at the end of 2020. Losing a mentor could have drowned Numbaa 7’s career. Instead he continued to push forward in the rap game.

Numbaa 7 Drops New Singles

“Smile Today” has hit the scene of the rap game. The track has a hood vibe to it. 7 raps over the hard hitting bass that is guaranteed to shake your trunk. Flutes and fiddles glide on top of the bass creating a nice rhythm.

Money Man is featured on the “Smile Today.” Money Man has a laid back approach which is different than the energetic approach of  7.

“Difference” was released a week before “Smile Today.” The song features the Detroit rapper Babyface Ray. The song focuses on revealing who really are your friends and who is not. 7 says that we all have to learn the difference between friends and enemies.

Diary of a Steppa Hits The Streets Soon

The release of “Smile Today” comes out just before Numbaa 7 drops his new project. The rapper is set to release Diary of a Steppa on July 15. 7 and his team released the track list.
