Walemania, Wale’s annual wrestling event, is back for its sixth year. The pro-wrestling themed music powerhouse event will be in Dallas, Texas, on Mar. 31. Thanks to a new partnership with Spotify, this show should be even better than last year. The event will take place for the first time before the pandemic in 2019.
Information on Wale’s Event
The Ringer’s Masked Man Show Podcast will open the event. This event is a professional wrestling recap show hosted by David Shoemaker and Kazeem Famuyide. This podcast is famous for featuring exciting guests from the world of hip hop and professional wrestling. As part of the event, Foot Locker is also dropping exclusive merch. In this merchandise, Wale’s passion for sneaker culture and wrestling is evident.
“WaleMania has always been a passion of mine because it combines all of my loves into one place during a weekend that I always have the most fun,” Wale said. “I love doing this for fans of myself and my music as well as the fans of professional wrestling because at the end of the day, I’m one of you too. I love that WaleMania has become the unofficial welcome to the big weekend party so I’ve got a few things up my sleeve to make sure this one is unforgettable.”
Guests this year will include Swerve Strickland, Ricky Starks, IMPACT Wrestling’s Machine Gun Karl Anderson, Chris Bey, and AJ Gray. In addition, Big Swole, Joey Janela, Tasha Steelz, Luke Gallows, and many more will appear. Along with a few friends, Wale will perform on stage.
