Rihanna Opens Up About Hiding Her Pregnancy
I’m sure the world was filled with joy after hearing about Rihanna’s confirmed pregnancy. The singer started moving towards the media to discuss her and A$AP Rocky’s upcoming parenthood. People,E! News is the latest media outlet to publish an interview with the Barbadian mogul. It took place at Goya Studios in Los Angeles during the celebration of her Fenty brand.
Rihanna Embracing Her Pregnancy Curves
During said interview, the What’s My Name singer said that she embraced both the good and the bad with her newfound curves. One of the most notable reveals from this interview was how Rihanna kept her news of a pregnancy secret, especially from her circle of friends:
“It was harder for me to keep it from my posse because they’re around me, they know my habits … They’re like, ‘You don’t want something to drink? You’re not smoking?’ And I’m eating all the things I’m not used to eating. They know I hate sweets and I’m all of a sudden asking for cookies and donuts.”
What Makes The Singer Feel Confident?
“I’m enjoying not having to worry about covering up my tummy,” the “We Found Love” Rihanna added on her pregnancy appearance. “If I feel a little chubby, it’s like, whatever! It’s a baby!”

Furthermore, Rihanna explained that fashion has also contributed to her confidence, while in pregnancy.
“Right now, being pregnant, some days you just feel like, ‘Ugh, I just want to lay here on this couch all day.’ But when you put on a little face and a little lipstick, you transform,” she shared.
“You put some clothes on, and it’s like, when you look good, you feel good,” Rihanna continued. “I’ve heard that for a very long time, but it’s true. It really can get you up off that couch and make you feel like a bad b****.”
As we recall, in May of last year, Rocky announced he was dating Rihanna during an interview with GQ. Months after Rocky’s big announcement, the two made their first public appearance together at the Met Gala. The couple is reportedly frequently hangs around New York City. Since then, they have remained inseparable. Pretty Flacko and Rih Rih took pictures under an overpass in West Harlem last month, resulting in the now-iconic baby bump pictures.
