Claims state that “it hasn’t been properly tested” from those who are outside of Russia as there were not a huge number of volunteers for the study. The main concern is that the United States wouldn’t consider the vaccine trial a “real trial” due to numbers and the two month trial. In the ABC news clip revealed that the vaccine uses the same technology as their Ebola vaccine. Russia’s main concern is ensuring primary workers such as teachers get the vaccines first. Now, the University of Oxford, Moderna, and Pfizer is continuing stage 3 of the clinical trial with over 30,000 volunteers. These numbers feel much more safe and reliable for the future of vaccines!
