Covid-19 has been making its huge impact for months. From illness to closing stores, restaurants, and more, everyone has been dying to get their hands on vaccines for treatment. Well, there’s some good news! Russia has been approved for the ‘World First’ Covid-19 vaccine! While there are concerns and skepticism, Russia has won the race for the world’s first Covid-19 vaccine.
Concerns Regarding Russia’s World First Covid-19 Vaccine
Russia Has Been Approved For The ‘World First’ Covid-19 Vaccine, while this is great news, there are some concerns surrounding the groundbreaking news. Vladimir Putin just made the announcement surrounding the new vaccine. The president even revealed that his daughter has taken the vaccine. Although, there are worries about testings and clinical trials. Claims state that “it hasn’t been properly tested” from those who are outside of Russia as there were not a huge number of volunteers for the study. The main concern is that the United States wouldn’t consider the vaccine trial a “real trial” due to numbers and the two month trial. In the ABC news clip revealed that the vaccine uses the same technology as their Ebola vaccine. Russia’s main concern is ensuring primary workers such as teachers get the vaccines first. Now, the University of Oxford, Moderna, and Pfizer is continuing stage 3 of the clinical trial with over 30,000 volunteers. These numbers feel much more safe and reliable for the future of vaccines! With the hard work for vaccines, there’s going to be light at the end of the tunnel!
Next Steps For Covid-19 Vaccines
Although there is ongoing skepticism around Russia’s approved world first Covid-19 vaccine, Russia is determined to prove everyone wrong. With their technology and hopes that the vaccine will officially be good to go by the end of the year, it shows the dedication in ensuring the vaccine is safe through more and more testings.
