#FMSpotlight: Bobby Fishscale – “Role Models” (Watch)

Bobby Fishscale dropped a new music video, “Role Models.” Ben Marc’s clip is a message on the challenges Black and Brown teenagers encounter with no role models around them.

The emotional and powerful video, “Role Models,” sends a simple yet profound message. One statistical fact in the “Role Models” ending also makes that message as straightforward as possible.

“We didn’t have any role models and no one to look up to, but we were still able to make nothing out of something,” Fishscale explained.

“Being a role model is extremely important because where we come from, we don’t have a lot of people to look up to,” Kalan.FrFr. added. “It means so much to me to show kids you can be whatever you want to be. You just gotta chase your dreams.”

Bobby Fishscale’s Road to Success

“No Role Models” followed up recent Bobby’s work “Make it Snow.” The video’s title is pretty self-explanatory; Bobby enjoys the pleasures of rich life and “makes it snow” while the actual snow is falling from the sky.

Bobby’s productivity certainly pays off. He now has over 15M global streams. Bobby is also currently working with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation music label, which seems to work out great for both parties. Bobby also recently attended at the 40/40 club’s 18th anniversary alongside the likes of JAY-Z, Lil Uzi Vert, Megan Thee Stallion, Meek Mill, Remy Ma, Pusha T, and many more.

The Florida-based artist also gives success back to his community. He unexpectedly appeared at his former school, spoke with the 8th-grade class, and donated goodie bags to help them start the new school year with enough resources. Mayor of Fishscale’s hometown Quincy, Ronte R. Harris, also gave Bobby the Key to the City over the summer for achievements in the recording industry.

#FMSpotlight: Bobby Fishscale – “Make It Snow” (Watch)

Roc Nation signee Bobby Fishscale often counts his blessings. Moreso, because he’s put in the work for a prominent music career. And that seemingly remains true year after year. One example of this came about recently.

Having been gifted the Key to the City by the Mayor of his hometown of Quincy, FL. Fishscale also performed at Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, taking the stage on Day 1 of the three-day event with an unforgettable performance of his hit songs “Got It To” and “Blue Cheese.”

He reflects on his success story in “Make It Snow.”

In “Make It Snow,” he expresses his gratitude when speaking about his knack for rhyming. This time, Fishscale opts for a bouncy flow and spits over a playful, flute-led hip-hop beat. Over the years, he’s accomplished a lot, and he basks in it. While there may be others who envy this, he pays them no mind. Instead, Fishscale thinks back on the grind.

Also, he unveils that it was investing that got him ahead. Instead of blowing a bag on the flashiest clothes or drip, he put it away for a rainy day.

“They say you a fish well then why everyone call you goat?/cause I’m from the bricks, really overcame them obstacles,” he raps along with “You don’t hustle like me, oh no/I ran up a hundred ‘fore I ever bought some clothes.”

The music video, directed by Benny Flash, finds Fishscale flexing as it snows. He also links up with a group of baddies while visiting his home state.

Bobby Fishscale’s “No 9 to 5” Says Trapping Ain’t Dead Post-Quarantine (Watch)

“No 9 to 5”

Directed by Jon J.

Bobby Fishscale grabbed the industry’s attention with his “Hov Flow” over Jay-Z & Eminem’s ‘Renegade’ beat, and the Florida boy is back with the newly released “No 9 to 5” music video! The Fishscale Fam representative takes us through the mental throws of choosing the street life over going legit. His nasally delivery dives into the growing pains of life in the trap over the multi-platinum DJ Swift produced beat. One thing for sure, Bobby makes it clear where he stands with lines like, “I don’t think they could take trap out yo’ blood, even if they could leave mine where it was.”

The visual totes a cinematic storyline primarily based in a dimly lit bando catching Bibby Fishscale in his element over the stove with his mistress making sure the money count is in tact. In one of his performance shots he can be seen burning up an employment application to further exclaim his position on the 9-to-5 lifestyle (and his qualifications as a love interest for B. Simone, maybe?).

“No 9 to 5” is the lead single off of his upcoming project, The Last Re-Up. Keep your eyes on Bobby Fishscale as he continues to bloom his rapidly growing fanbase. He’s caught the attention of major record labels and there’s no telling what the future holds. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section!
