Boosie Badazz Performed For Police After Getting Pulled Over

Police pulled Boosie Badazz over again for speeding, but he did something nobody expected this time. Instead of yelling and screaming at the police like before, he began a surprise performance. The incident happened on Friday in Fulton County.

Police pulled Boosie Badazz over for evidently going over 73 miles an hour in a 53-mile-an-hour zone. Deputy Chief of Fairburn told TMZ that after the stop, police said they could smell weed, which prompted a car search. Something that Boosie Badazz is once again no stranger to. A few months ago, July 12, 2022, to be exact, the rapper was pulled over by police and had his car searched then as well.

This time, however, Badazz, in incredible frustration with the situation, did what anyone else would do—start rapping. He began performing his hit song “Set It Off,” a fitting piece since it starts with the rapper expressing his annoyance.

In the video, Badazz starts talking with a cop and offers him a new job. He even waves money around in the cop’s face. Of course, this was no small change. According to Badazz, though, this measly amount of 30 thousand dollars is “chump change. The money flying around or the employment benefits under Boosie’s wing did not excite the cop. Check out the full video below.

The Fallout of Boosie’s Performance

During the car search, however, the cops are said to have found a small amount of weed. Luckily though, they did not cite Badazz for it. Unfortunately, the Louisiana native would not get away completely free as the cops cited him for speeding and littering. At least with the 30 thousand dollars that he was waving around, he can quickly pay off those citations. Badazz expressed his thoughts on his latest run-in with the police, stating it is because he is “a successful black man today.”

Boosie Badazz Harassment Claims Shut Down by Cops

Boosie Badazz claims the reason that he was pulled over and handcuffed by the police is because he is famous. The cops in Georgia, where the incident took place, claim this is false. Badazz was riding shotgun in a black Cadillac SUV when police pulled the car over. The reason cops pulled the rapper over was because the car had heavy window tint and concealed tags. During the traffic stop, however, the cops handcuffed Badazz and this sent the rapper off on a huge rant about cops. In the rant, Boosie Badazz talks about how he is being targeted by the cops for his celebrity status. TMZ obtained the entire rant video and was told that the cops were intending to search the car. You can watch the entire video below.

The Outcome of Boosie Badazz Dealing With Cops & Fame

Obviously, this is not the first time that a celebrity has made such accusations. In this case, the police officers claimed to smell marijuana and put the cuffs on the rapper for police protection. According to Fairburn Police Department Deputy Chief Anthony Bazydlo, it is common for cops to use handcuffs when searching a car. Bazydlo says that Badazz’s claims are false and his celebrity status or past criminal history had nothing to do with the stop. The cop’s main reason for the stop was for the temporary license plate. Additionally, the license plate was obstructed and could not be checked. The cop’s search turned up a large bag of cash and a bag of weed. The driver of the Cadillac SUV, De’Shun Lawrence claimed ownership of the pot. Lawrence was cited and Badazz was released.

This is not the first time that TMZ has caught up to Badazz. Recently they also got footage of him getting in the face of a man outside a hotel. This incident was completely different from this as Badazz was defending a hotel employee who was being berated by the man.

Styles P Steps In To Help Unarmed Black Woman Being Forcibly Arrested by Cops

There have been many instances in which police officers have committed senseless acts against minorities throughout the years. This type of behavior has given them a terrible reputation. As seen on film, The LOX rapper Styles P intervenes in a situation where two Yonkers cops forcefully arrest an unarmed Black woman. As reported by TMZ, the woman was arrested for driving recklessly while operating an unregistered motorbike.

It turns out that the incident occurred just outside Style P and Jadakiss’ juice bar, Juices For Life, in New York. According to P, the police were being too aggressive toward the woman. This led him to become involved in the matter.

“You’s a f**king h*e. You’s a whole b*tch,” the “I Get High” rapper said to one of the officers. In response to his continued derogatory remarks, the cop stood up and approached him.

“Imma back up, don’t touch me,” Styles said as he held his hands up. “Yeah you scared too, you keep running up on me. You slammed a girl! For no reason!”

People From All Walks of Life Support The LOX Rapper

In addition to going viral, the video received numerous supportive comments from fans on social media. Styles P has also received support from the Breakfast Club with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne tha God.

Styles Gives His Thoughts On What Transpired

Moreover, P released a video on his Instagram page addressing the incident. He admitted he was tempted to fight the policeman, but doing so would have been a grave error. Although Styles does not wish to see the officers lose their jobs, he would like to see them handle situations with more remarkable tact.

“I don’t hate cops. I hate the mistreatment of poor people,” he said.

More individuals like The LOX rapper are needed in the Black community to speak out on behalf of our race. All police officers are not bad, but several news stories are devoted to law enforcement personnel’s murder or mistreatment of African Americans. These victims include Walter Scott, Philando Castile, Rodney King, Daunte Wright, Manuel Ellis, George Floyd, and Breonna Taylor, among many others.

Polo G Felony Assault Charges Dropped

Prosecutors in Miami-Dade County, Florida have dropped felony assault charges levied against rapper Polo G, TMZ  reports. The three charges stemmed from an incident taking place in Miami last June.

Before today, Taurus Tremani Bartlett (Polo G) had been facing three felony counts of assault against an officer, as well as threatening a public servant. In addition to these, a separate criminal mischief misdemeanor was brought against him. This misdemeanor has been dropped as well. All dropped charges have been due to a lack of sufficient evidence.

As a final charge, prosecutors brought forth a charge of resisting an officer. However, this was reduced to a misdemeanor.

The arrest and charges of Polo G

In the early morning hours of June 12, Polo G was pulled over by multiple police officers. According to Polo G, those officers had been tailing him for sometime. This was following a release party for his 2021 album Hall of FameHis younger brother was also in the car with him. Polo G’s mother, Stasia Mac, claimed on Twitter the police “stopped them because they were driving while Black.”

The Chicago rapper was released on $19,500 bail. He still faces two charges of resisting an officer without violence. It is unclear if these charges will also be dropped. No comment has been given by the Miami-Dade State Attorney.

Interestingly, Bradford Cohen, attorney for Polo G, has said that there is a way for the rapper to have all charges dropped. According to the lawyer, the rapper will enroll in anger management courses. Upon completion, Cohen says that remainder charges will be dropped. Again, no comment from Miami-Dade.

Legal problems aside, it has been quite a year for Polo G. His third studio album, Hall of Fame, dropped in just a day before his arrest, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Among the singles were the smash hits “Gang Gang” and the Hot 100-topper “RAPSTAR”.
