Black History Month is a designated time to celebrate the achievements in the community, highlighting talents and skills from the youngest to the elders. Brandon TV is once again showcasing some of the world’s most talented dancers with a new series, “The Dolls: Mini Majorettes.”

Fans of The Dolls have been captivated by Diana Williams’ efforts. A skilled dancer herself, Williams is the driving force behind what audiences now recognize as The Dancing Dolls. Thanks to her foresight and vision, as noted by IMDb,

Williams Makes an Impact

For decades, Williams has been dedicated to nurturing young talent. She established the roots of her dance program in 2002 in Jackson, starting at Grove Park. Her majorette class quickly became the most popular.

“This class produced exceptional dancers, some of whom joined The Dance Team Grove Park Dancerettes, between 2002 and 2004, participated in their middle and high school dance teams, joined community groups, and even became part of collegiate dance squads.”

“The Dolls: Mini Majorettes” is set for a four-episode run and is now streaming on Brandon TV. The season kicked off on Sunday, February 23rd, with the promise of new episodes being released weekly. Tune in to see these mini-majorettes start their journey with the 19-minute episode entitled, “The New Generation.”In addition to the first episode of “The Dolls: Mini Majorettes,” episodes from the original series are available for viewing.
