Dej Loaf Quitting Music?
The fans of ‘Hey There’ artist Dej Loaf got shocked and saddened by a now-deleted tweet where she implied she’s retiring from the music industry entirely. “Probably never drop music again,” she typed Wednesday (Dec. 15)

This also comes after a long hiatus since her last solo project, Sell Sole II, dropped in October 2020. However, Dej seems to have had a change of heart after receiving some encouragement from fellow Detroit rapper Sada Baby. Sada, who collaborated with Dej on her Sell Sole II cut ‘Tap In,’ had nothing but kind words for Dej Loaf.

“Please don’t ever retire,” Sada typed. “You the one before anybody else was the one from our side n I mean that. Love you and appreciate the soul and inspiration you gave me from just bein yoself.” In addition to the sweet words, Sada posted an Apple Music screenshot of ‘No Passes,’ a single from her latest album.
Dej quickly responded to the tweet, thanking Sada for the praise and also confirming she has no plans on retiring.

With the combined efforts of Sada Baby and her own fans, Dej Loaf’s passion for the studio seems to be revitalized. Although there’s no official confirmation of new music, her fans can rest easy for now.
