Kenny Beats Shares Tracklist For New Album “Louie”

Kenny Beat is more than established as one of the most recognizable producers in modern Hip-Hop right now. After years of assisting talented artists with production & exposure, the producer is excited to drop his debut album later this month. The project is simply titled “Louie” & is set to be released in a few days on Wednesday, August 31st.

Additionally, Kenny’s already revealed the new album’s tracklist alongside its beautiful cover artwork design. The tracklist doesn’t show any credits for potential featured artists, but it’s likely that he at least worked with a few of his regular collaborators. Take a look at Kenny’s announcement Tweet below:

Who Could We See/Hear On Kenny Beat’s Debut?

Just so we’re all clear, the album will entirely consist of Kenny Beats’s productions & will likely not feature him as a lead vocal artist. With that in mind, “Louie” may just be an all-instrumental project, or it may have some rappers we know & love on his beats. So far in his career, he has collaborated with Denzel Curry, Rico Nasty, etc.

Not only do he & Vince Staples have projects together, but many fans remember Vince’s iconic episode on Kenny’s The Cave series. I could see any of the three rappers mentioned above being secret features for “Louie.”

The Next Chapter Of His Brand & Career

Releasing an official project not only solidifies the career & legacy of Kenny Beats even more. He’s still well recognized for his contributions to the genre through his music resumé & growing media presence. Again, there likely will be some frequent collaborators on his album. Especially now that he built genuine relationships with many rappers.

Are you excited about Kenny’s new release this month? And, do you think we’ll hear other artists on it?

Denzel Curry Premiers A Visual For The New Sinlge “Walkin”

Denzel Curry releases his new music video to “Walkin” after announcing his new album Melt My Eyez See Your Future.

Denzel Curry’s “Walkin” Single, New Album

The 26 year old announced his new album earlier this month now giving us a breif teaser. Curry also announced to his fans they should expect features from Rico Nasty, T-Pain, Slowthai, and other artists. According to Complex, Denzel Curry’s “Walkin” music video was directed by Adrian Villagomez. The visual takes place in an epic sci-fi western setting. Denzel is to be on a  hero’s journey across a barren landscape. In the video, Curry jounreys across the dessert planet before squaring off with his enemy, John Wayne.

Curry Described His Album As EVERYTHING!

“I like traditional hip hop, I like drum and bass, I like trap, I like poetry. He continues, “A lot of that is going to be interwoven in this album including jazz and a lot of genres that I came up on as a kid and just being in my parents’ house. This album is made up of everything that I couldn’t give you on TA13OO or Imperial because I was going through depression anger issues.”

It seems that with “Walkin” Denzel Curry is taking a different direction in his music.  He also announced he is set to go on a North American tour in April this year which will be ending in July. Back in 2020, Curry and Kenny Beats, who is also featured in the project, joined together to release “Unlocked”, which was followed up with a remix project last year, “Unlocked 1.5”.

Apart from “Walkin,” Denzel Curry released many singles throughout 2021.  One of which included, “The Game” for the Madden NFL 22 soundtrack.

J.I.D Dropping New Single On Friday, Featuring 21 Savage and Baby Tate

Atlanta artist J.I.D has announced that he is dropping new music on Friday. Yesterday rap artist announced his single, “Surround Sound” will feature 21 Savage and Baby Tate.

J.I.D shared a 45 second clip of the new single on Twitter. The geniuses behind the J.I.D track are producers DJ Scheme and Christo.

The Successes of J.I.D

Born Destin Choice Route, J.I.D has been on an upward climb since he signed to J.Cole’s recording label, Dreamville back in 2017. The east Atlanta rapper/singer was the fourth member of Atlanta music collective, Spillage Village. They released Spilligon under Dreamville in 2020. Between him and artist 6lack, this smooth rendition of gospel meets folk music proved that a new wave of music is in emergence.

Contributing to his success is feature with Imagine Dragons. This collaboration with Imagine Dragons begat “Enemy” featuring J.I.D. and is the theme song for the popular Netfilx series Arcane. The feature with the alternative rock band ultimately earned them a No.1 on Billboard’s Top TV Songs charts.

Prior to announcing his new song “Surround Sound,” Conway The Machine featured him on “Scatter Brain.” Fans went crazy over his melodic vocals and effortless rap verses.

Generally speaking he is referred to as “the GOAT” in his arena of music. Still fans are waiting for J.I.D. to drop his Forever Story album. He has been raving about the album since last year. In a Tweet, he announced, “The Forever Story is the one.”

He has teased several snippets and let’s not forget his song, “Ambassel” which can be heard on the Madden 22 soundtrack. With several features circulating, and the success of his last album DiCaprio2, which dropped three years ago, J.I.D commemorates his growth.

He has given a look at other possible features like Denzel Curry, 6lack, Buddy, and Smino. Perhaps we will have an album soon enough. Until then, look forward to his single, “Surround Sound” to drop this Friday.

Denzel Curry Teases New Album ‘Melt My Eyez See Your Future’

Denzel Curry will be releasing his new album Melt My Eyez See Your Future later this year.

On Wednesday, January 5th, Denzel announced a new trailer for the album that was released that same day.

This short clip features calming guitar strums alongside more beautiful instrumentation as the clip goes on. Denzel is in the western-themed video walking through a hilly desert. He can be seen where attire that’s very fitting of this old-west aesthetic and a cool new hairstyle. It’ll be exciting to see how it all plays into this new album and its insightful title. Check out the full trailer below:

Features On Denzel’s New Album

Even though we still don’t have an official release date yet, it’s still exciting knowing that Denzel Curry will be releasing his new album Melt My Eyez See Your Future this year. The trailer above does at least reveal what features and collaborations we can expect from the Florida rapper’s upcoming release. At the end of the clip, we can see all the names listed in the end credits.

Notable artists include T-Pain, Thundercat, Rico Nasty, 6LACK, J.I.D., slowthai, Robert Glasper, Kenny Beats & JPEGMAFIA. Many of these artists are people he’s worked with on music in the past, but names like T-Pain and Thundercat stand out & should be interesting features for the album.

Expectations For Melt My Eyez See Your Future

First, I think I speak for many when I say that this does have the potential to be his best album to date. Additionally, there will probably be a lot of topics discussed and updates on his life since the pandemic started shortly after his last release. Denzel is an amazing lyricist & has a great ear for beats, but I’m mainly focused on what subjects will appear on Melt My Eyez See Your Future. The title itself sounds pretty deep and can be interpreted in many ways. Also, the trailer’s mysterious western aesthetic raises a lot of questions itself too.
