King Von Mural Found In Lil Durk’s Online GTA RP Server

GTA RP is a popular online roleplaying life simulation server based on the classic video game Grand Theft Auto V. Chicago rapper Lil Durk started his own GTA server called The Trenches through his website & OTF brand. A mural for one of his fallen contemporaries King Von can be seen in the game to honor the viral Chicago icon. Von, unfortunately, passed away in the middle of a physical altercation with Quando Rando at an Atlanta nightclub years ago. While being a good brand move, it’s dope to see Lil Durk show love to Von in his new GTA server. Take a look at the game itself below:

Durk’s GTA Online RP Server “The Trenches”

The reporter Jake Lucky announced Durk’s GTA server just a week ago on Twitter. Many fans of the Rockstar Games hit series have grown to enjoy the GTA RP servers more than GTA V. In addition to the news, it’s also been revealed that the game’s radio stations will feature music from rising & established talents in the industry. Tons of artists would love the opportunity to feature in a gaming project headed by one of the biggest stars in Rap. The Trenches server is now available to try & will make the wait for GTA VI from Rockstar even easier.

Another GTA Server Featuring The Von Mural

Lil Durk’s not the only rapper with his GTA RP server online. Tee Grizzley’s Grizzley World is another one of these popular servers in the gaming community. Additionally, Tee Grizzley’s server also happens to feature the same King Von mural as the one in Durk’s The Trenches. Will you be trying out either of these rappers’ highly praised videogame endeavors? And if you have, which of the servers do you prefer between the two of theirs?

Lil Durk Takes Time To Recover After Being Injured At Lollapalooza

Lil Durk among many other artists took the stage at Chicago’s Lollapalooza. While the festival was a hit, Durk had a rough time finishing up his set due to an onstage explosion.

On Saturday, July 30, Lil Durk was rushed to the hospital after his Lollapalooza performance. According to HipHop DX, Durk suffered from a minor face injury as he accidentally walked into two onstage explosions. While performing, smoke effects burst out from the floor of the stage, hitting the rapper directly in the eye. Immediately the show was paused as he started walking backward while pulling up his shirt to wipe his eyes.

After the incident Lil Durk went on to finish his set, showing immense love for his fans. Taking to Instagram, yesterday, July 31st, the 7220 artist posted up in a hospital bed with his eye wrapped to update his fans that he will be taking a break in order to recover.

“Due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza in Chicago on stage, I’ma take a break & focus on my health. I finished my performance yesterday for my fans. Appreciate y’all.”

Lil Durk striving at #1!

In other recent news, about a month ago FMHipHop reported the release of Cardi B’s Hot Sh*t collab featuring Lil Durk and Kanye West. Our source indicates that originally the song was going to arrive without a music video, however the trio never disappoints and we were lucky enough to get one. Lil Durk even stated the track may be “song of the year.”

As FMHipHop continues to wish Lil Durk a speedy recovery, the rapper also took to Instagram just days ago to announce his song, “What Happened To Virgil” featuring Gunna, hitting #1 on Urban Radio. As for Lollapalooza, the festival was a success with performances from Lil Baby, J Cole, Big Sean, Dua Lipa, Machine Gun Kelly and more.

The Game’s New Album Title Was Actually Given To Lil Durk First

The Game‘s new album Drillmatic: Heart vs. Mind will be arriving in a few weeks. The eye-grabbing title is a reference to the classic Hip-Hop masterpiece Illmatic by the famous Nas. In one of his most recent exclusives with HipHopDX, The Game explains originally giving his Drillmatic album title idea to Lil Durk years ago. After highlighting how it’d fit Durk due to him being from Chicago, he stated, “I text Durk like, ‘Yo, call your next album Drillmatic.’ And he was like, ‘Yo, that’s fire.’ And then two years passed and he didn’t call nothing Drillmatic so I was like, ‘I’ma reel that back in.’” Oddly, Lil Durk never bothered to use the title after The Game shared the idea.

Nas Blessing The Game With Illmatic Reference

As mentioned above, The Game’s new album title plays on Nas’ 1994 classic album Illmatic. Well, he & producer Hit-Boy ran into Nas during the fourth day of recording the album. Nas gave the duo permission & had no issue with the idea at all. All The Game is simply trying to do is bridge the gap between rap generations, “Drill is now. All these kids, it’s drill this, drill that and so I gotta get they attention because I want the new school to understand my school, we can coexist.” It’ll be exciting to see how he accomplishes this on Drillmatic: Heart vs. Mind.

Drillmatic: Heart vs. Mind Coming Soon

The Game is extremely confident about the quality of his upcoming album. He’s said, “I don’t care who got an album coming out, I don’t care who dropped — nothing’s gonna be better than this album…” In another interview, he boasted about being the best rapper alive. Will Drillmatic: Heart vs. Mind live up to all of the hype built up.
