It seems as though Tyler, The Creator is beginning to rollout a new album
His method of announcement isn’t any sort of social media post, lead single, or any sort of direct statement. This time, Tyler uses a simple billboard and already sets the internet ablaze.
The billboard says ‘CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST’ with the phone number 1 (855)-444-8888 listed under it. Most importantly, the Columbia Records logo, where the Flower Boy is signed, is on the bottom right of the billboard. The background is two big stars in pale and unsaturated pink and green, very on par with his recent aesthetic.
If you call the number at the bottom, its a recording of his mother. In the recording, she speaks of how much she will always love and support Tyler, who is also in the recording. Its very sweet and of course a bit humorous, given that its Tyler related, literally.
Further speculations have led to a fairly strong conclusion that this will serve as a skit on his next album, likely as an intro or interlude. The skit is now titled ‘MOMMA TALK’ and the album itself is supposedly titled ‘CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST.’
History repeats itself…
While it may be a bit extreme to immediately assume this is an album rollout, it makes sense. First, Tyler consistently drops solo albums every two years since 2011’s ‘Goblin.’ Secondly, according to Hip Hop By The Numbers, the range of days between Tyler announcing an album and then releasing it is between five and 47 days, so far in his career. He also has only ever dropped between the months of April and July. To top it all off, he’s headlining countless festivals this summer.  In short, we eating!
Give the billboard a call to experience the love between Tyler and his mom, it won’t surprise you! Hopefully you’re just as excited as we are for this album!
