Kevin Hart Gifted “Will Smith” The Goat To Chris Rock During An Epic Comedy Show

The slap heard around the world from the 2022 Academy Awards is still making noise. Back in March, the world watched as Will Smith slapped Chris Rock following a joke about his wife. Last night, comedian  Kevin Hart gifted an actual goat named “Will Smith,” to Chris Rock. Hilariously, this was during a comedy show at Madison Square Garden in New York City with Dave Chappelle on stage.

What Took Place When Kevin Hart Gifted “Will Smith” The Goat To Rock?

Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart, and Chris Rock held a comedy show at MSG. And the room was full of laughter and tons of jokes. One of the topics that came up was how Hart had a live goat in attendance. And no one could understand why. But to everyone’s surprise he presented it to Rock as a gift. And let everyone know the goat’s name was “Will Smith.” Hart mentioned to the audience that Rock not only was a friend and inspiration, but he was in fact a mentor. And he was his G.O.A.T. Which is where the inspiration for his gift came from.

Despite creating a tender moment, where he says Rock almost cried. The goat made things a bit messy and actually ruined Rock’s shoes. “Chris had on some white moon boots and that goat got him,” Hart said on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Kevin Hart’s gift wasn’t the first time the incident came up recently. Last weekend while performing in New Jersey Chris Rock made a point to talk about being seen as a “victim.” Saying, “I’m not a victim. Yeah that hurt, but I shook it off and went to work.” Rock even compared the slap to getting a paper cut and it being that minor in his life.

It’s clear that Hart is one of the only people that could pay homage to one of the greats, while also making fun of them!

DJ Khaled Wows Jay-Z With Album Listening Session

DJ Khaled is continuing to build the buzz for his next album, with Jay-Z giving his stamp of approval. Khaled posted a picture from a private listening session on Thursday, and it seems as if Hov is his biggest fan. The two rappers smoked cigars and sipped champagne, and it was clear that Jay liked what he heard.

Khaled and Hov have collaborated many times through the years, including “We Got The Keys,”, “They Don’t Love You No More” and “Sorry Not Sorry”.

DJ Khaled’s session with Jay-Z is one of many teases the mogul has given fans over the last few months. He revealed the title of the project, God Did, on July 6. Shortly after, the New Orleans native flooded social media with pictures of Drake in the studio, along with a clip of Khaled’s rise to fame. No release date for the album has been announced.

DJ Khaled markets his album

According to the release announcing the album, “God Did” has become a personal mantra for DJ Khaled. The release also featured other artists and celebrities using the phrase, including Future, Lil Baby and LeBron James.

“I made this album for all the believers and non believers. They didn’t believe in us…do you?,” the caption read. Khaled also posted a video montage of scenes from the studio while recording the album. The marketing gives the hint that the album is going for a gospel angle.

Dj Khaled’s 2021 album, KHALED KHALED, earned the rapper his third No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200. The project also managed to reach No. 1 on the Rap Albums chart, the sixth time a Khaled album has done so.

In April, the Bahamian artist celebrated getting his Hollywood Walk of Fame star. The ceremony included guests such as Jay-Z, Diddy, and Teyana Taylor.

Happy 50th Birthday to Tupac Shakur

25 years since his 25 years of life

On what would have been his 50th birthday, we take time today to memorialize the biggest icon in all of Hip-Hop culture, Tupac Amaru Shakur.

It’s simply not possible to cover all of his accomplishments in one article, but it’s certainly worth trying. Tupac, known artistically as 2Pac, was an activist first and foremost. With his parents being members of the Black Panther Party, Pac’s mission was always to improve all Black lives. With all of his accomplishments, Pac always wanted that to be what he was most known for.

That sort of mentality is why he still holds the claim to be the greatest MC that ever lived. His place in the conversation transcends other rapper’s claims because of how much he stood for and continues to stand for. Nevertheless, Pac is also always in that conversation because he is simply one of the great songwriters in the history of the culture.  Songs like ‘Dear Mama‘ and ‘Brenda’s Got a Baby‘ are some of the earliest examples of transcendent and emotional songwriting in the game of rap, both of which will never be topped.

Pac Against the World…

Pac’s discography has tracks for everybody. His sensitive songs can touch anybody of any age or gender while his hardest songs elevated hardcore Hip-Hop. Pac screamed “Thug Life” until he died, with his later tracks showing honest brutality in the life that he endured. His album catalog is among the all time greatest in the whole culture. “Me Against the World,” “All Eyez On Me,’ and “The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory” are too important to the culture to even begin to write about with such limited space.

The face of Death Row Records, legendary songwriter and rapper, the mouthpiece of the culture, and true to heart activist, the world will always appreciate the blessing that Tupac Shakur was. While we only covered a fraction of his accomplishments, we’re happy to acknowledge the great Makaveli on his 50th. Rest in peace, Pac.
