Trae Tha Truth, a Houston rapper well known for his activism, took action after seeing a video of an elderly woman being robbed outside her residence. Yesterday (April 4), Trae posted to his Instagram account surveillance footage reposted from Houston television news station KHOU 11.

How It All Started

The video shows an elderly Black woman carrying her purse and a few other items as she approaches the doorway of her home. Moreover, before she can reach her front door, she notices a black car coming to a screeching halt. 

A young Black man in a mask and hooded jacket jumped out of the vehicle. He then pointed a gun at the woman and tried to rob her. Therefore, as the woman screams, she throws down her possessions and pleads with the man for her life.

Upset by what he saw, Trae posted a video to his page about “principles and morals.”

“You don’t prey on the weak,” Trae explained. “The moves some of these cats Making Ain’t Solid Or Street, Never Harm Women Kids, Elders… That Could Be One Our Parents or Grandparents smh… Imma Make It My Bizness To Go Find Her Today.”

Trae Tha Truth Was Also Successful In Locating The Woman

Additionally, due to Trae’s use of his platform to speak out and spread awareness about the troubling incident, he could locate the woman. Also, within a few hours of his original posting, Trae was seen standing in front of the woman’s home, embracing her in the photo captioned,

“I Made It To Her….. I Made Sure She know That Real Ones Dont Stand By Or Approve What Happen To Her… And Also Blessed Her. Protect Our Own. Told Her She Should Create Her Own personal Go fund because a lot of people want to help her. “

After all, Trae made it his duty to protect her identity by covering her face in the photograph.

DaBaby Uses Beef With Baby Mama To Promote His Tour

DaBaby never ceases to amaze us…the rapper and singer Danileigh seem to have gotten into an altercation, ending with police at the couple’s home. According to Danileigh, Dababy wanted her to leave the house. When she refused, he called the police to have her removed.

“All of a sudden, I cook for this Ni**a tonight. I am sleeping in his bed. He wanna come to the crib talking about you need to go. Da f**k? Ain’t nobody leaving, and of course, things escalated.” The two share a 3-month-old daughter who was at home at the time of the altercation. The baby, along with Danileigh, can be seen in the video that Dababy said he recorded for his protection. Take a look below.

The DaBaby and Danileigh Drama Continues

Danileigh claims she lived with Dababy for the past three months and now has nowhere to go. Dababy has since gone to social media to downplay the relationship, saying that she was nothing more than his “side b**ch.”

Danileigh then took to social media to post a series of pictures in her Instagram story as receipts to prove she was indeed more than what DaBaby is saying.

DaBaby Uses Beef With To Promote His Tour

Shortly after Dababy called the police on Danileigh, he took to social media to make an official statement. He accused Danileigh of beating on him and chasing him around like a crazy person, “like something out of fatal Attraction.” Towards the end of his lengthy statement, he used the opportunity to promote his upcoming tour. Not sure if the drama will subside anytime soon, but hopefully so.

Kanye Buys $57.3 Million Dollar Mansion To Be Closer To Home

It seems like every week Kanye West makes headlining news. This week we are back with a new headline and this time it’s strictly art. Kanye has bought a $57.3 million dollar mansion on the coast of Malibu, surprisingly just 30 minutes away from his baby mama Kim Kardashian. The home is 4,000 square feet and stretches from the road to nearly the water line of the ocean itself. Though looking from the outside, it may not appear so, as massive the home was designed as a military bunker.

The home was designed and built by Tadao Ando a Japanese architect from Osaka, Japan. Ando is has become famous for his ‘haiku effect in his designs giving the feeling of nothing or little work when indeed the project is complex and takes a lot of thought.  It required 1200 tons of poured concrete, with 200 tons of reinforced steel driven 60 feet into the ground just to keep it stable sitting off the sandy coast.

Mr. West has a downside to this beautiful and expensive home though. He is very close to busy streets and traffic. Also there is not much space between him and his neighbors,making it a bit difficult for some privacy. Paparazzi will certainly know when Kanye’s home.

Kanye West has always been into aesthetics. He tweeted back in 2018 that we would all be living in a James Turrel-style home or work mimics by James Turrel (per HNHH).

If you don’t know who Turrel is, he is an artist and architect combining the two into a living experience. Remaking modern art as a day-to-day lifestyle, so to speak. He created the structures for Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ video he also designed the rings for Apple’s ring-shaped campus as well.

#HipHop4Her: Taking Care Of You And Home

In the earlier years, women were to know how to cook, clean, and take care of the children. While almost every woman has their motherly instinct and taking care of children comes naturally to some. Cooking and cleaning not so much. Now days there are women more concerned with the glitz and glam, their makeup, clothes and hair; rather than learning how to make a meal and the ability to clean the bathroom. Women should be about business and have the ability to take care of the household as well. I’m definitely not saying that the women should take care of the house alone if she has a companion.

Men always want a woman who knows how to cook and clean, they want to be able to come home to a meal and a clean house. Women should always carry her self with cleanliness, whether it is hygiene, or the way she keeps her living space. It shows qualities about a woman, whether she would be able to care of the home when she enters a relationship. No one would want to live with someone and have to do everything around the house. A woman who has the ability to make a meal, several at that, is a plus in the eyes of a man. It’s not only about being appealing in a man eyes but also the ability to fend for your self.

I wouldn’t consider it wifely duties but more catering to your man. Of course catering all the time can get tiring. So he should pick up his slack when he has time to, help you clean and cook once in a while. Or if he’s a man that loves to cook, let him and you worry about the cleaning. Although the times of women staying home to just cook and clean is over, these qualities should still be instilled in women when growing up.
