Benny the Butchers Postpones Show Due to non-COVID Hospitalization

Earlier yesterday morning Benny the Butcher entered the hospital for a non-COVID-related illness. Reportedly, the incident is related to complications resulting from asthma. It is unknown whether the rapper had a serious attack or whether there was some other complication. Regardless, as a direct result of this hospitalization, his show scheduled for yesterday evening at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit is postponed indefinitely.

What Happened to Benny the Butcher?

At the time of writing, it is unknown what actually happened to Benny or how serious his condition is. We do know some things, however. Benny’s spokesperson states that the incident is asthma-related and has no connection to COVID. Furthermore, Mike Powers has confirmed that Benny does occasionally use an inhaler.

Although the rapper had just holla’d at his homie the day before, something must have taken an unfortunate turn.  Benny had to postpone a show which was scheduled for last night. The show’s new date has yet determined.

According to Benny’s Instagram, ticket holders will have nothing to fear and will still be able to see the show once Benny has recovered.

Praying for a Speeding Recovery

In the U.S., 10 people die from asthma-related incidents every day. While asthma can be deadly, it is usually survivable. That is if the patient receives proper treatment early enough. Thankfully, those around Benny are taking good care of him. Despite this, it could take between 1-3 weeks before Benny is feeling back to normal.

In the interim, Benny has received an enormous outpouring of love and support from fans on Instagram and Twitter.

Gunna Explains Mystery Illness After Being Discharged from Hospital

Gunna is finally going home after spending the past week in the hospital

Gunna took to IG Live to reveal why he was hospitalized for the past week. “I feel better. I’m out of the hospital. I had pneumonia really really bad,” he said. The Atlanta-based rapper filmed from his Maybach, where he was watching TV on his way to his mom’s house. He assured his fans and viewers that he was in better health and no longer stuck in the hospital. He emphasized the importance of taking care of your body and staying healthy.

“Health is wealth. Everybody take care of your body, you know what I’m saying? Take it easy.”

Gunna flexed his new expensive rose-gold watch that frequent collaborator Young Thug gifted him (along with 3 other watches) as a get-well-soon gift. The “Ski” artist posted the video of him receiving the watches in the hospital on his Instagram live last week. This is not the first time Thug has shown his generosity toward Gunna. Not only this, but the two artists also give back to their communities and the underprivileged. Spreading positivity, even in sickness, is something Gunna continues to do.

It looks like Gunna is making a quick recovery from such a debilitating illness. Hopefully, his health will return to make new music or possibly go on tour!

Dr. Dre Hospitalized for Brain Aneurysm

Dr. Dre Hospitalized for Brain Aneurysm

Monday music mogul Dr. Dre suffered a brain aneurysm and hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center hospital in Los Angeles. Before his release on Tuesday, he was considered  “stable and lucid,” but doctors could not pinpoint the reason for the brain aneurysm even after multiple tests. Currently, he is going through a divorce with his wife and has a court hearing this Wednesday. Namely, his wife filed for a divorce back in June of 2020 after more than 20+ years of marriage together. Dre has paid most of the lawyers’ expenses, and his estranged wife wants to settle with a monthly payment of $2 million. In other words, this may have been more than enough to elevate his blood pressure, thus a probable cause for his aneurysm. In the meantime, more on that later.

LL Cool J reached out to social media to share that Dre was recovering well, which in the light gave everyone a sigh of relief. Also, Dr. Dre took Instagram an update while still in the hospital.

“Thanks to my family, friends, and fans for their interest and well wishes,” Dre said in the statement. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”- Dre

Continuing his hospitalization, on Tuesday, around 10 PM, four burglars entered the neighborhood and attempted to enter the rapper’s home. Afterward, suspects ran and entered a white SUV;  when apprehended, officers found a bag full of burglary supplies. Thus taken into custody although released on bail.
