Bettingexpert, the well-known online sports betting platform, took a closer look at the top 157 concert tours and residencies of 2023. Their goal? To determine the ones that gained the most popularity on TikTok. This social media platform has emerged as a potent force, linking artists directly with their fanbase and creating excitement for their tours. In essence, TikTok has become the ultimate decider of which concert tours are must-sees! Additionally, those viewers saved a great deal of money.

Top 5 Most Popular Tours On TikTok

Analyzing 157 tours and 713 hashtags related to those tours on TikTok, it turns out that videos about Taylor Swift‘s “The Eras Tour” scored 35.8 billion views. Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” was so popular on TikTok that it even made people forget which era she was performing in! In contrast, the other 156 tours were only able to rack up 27 billion TikTok views. Taylor Swift has been grabbing attention since her debut. Imagine having that many eyes on you every day!

Harry Styles’ “Love on Tour” snagged the second spot as the most popular TikTok tour, raking in 10.64 billion views.

Following closely in third place is Beyoncé’s “Renaissance Tour” with 4.29 billion views. It comes as no shock that Beyoncé made the cut; she’s been a prominent figure since her Destiny’s Child days and has always maintained a strong bond with her fans.

Taking the 4th spot with 1.67 billion views is Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever Tour,” closely followed by Adele’s Las Vegas residency, “Weekends with Adele,” which secures the 5th position with 1.52 billion views.

I am surprised that The Weeknd did not make the top five. His music and tours are so good that they should top the list in all categories. Nevertheless, he made it onto the list.

Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation” Music Video Causes Some Older Model Laptops To Crash

Who would have believed that a single song could have so much impact? A blog post published earlier this month by Microsoft’s chief software engineer, Raymond Chen, states that some older laptops may crash when viewing the classic Janet Jackson music video, “Rhythm Nation.”

What Is Causing The Music Video To Crash?

A specific rotation rate featured in “Rhythm Nation” appears to conflict with hard drives that spin at 5400 revolutions per minute.

In the case of newer models, the problem is claimed to have been rectified by manufacturers. However, some models with older hard drives are still susceptible to the issue.

This is a great disappointment for those who own an older model laptop and still wish to view the “Rhythm Nation” music video. Occasionally, people may not feel comfortable watching music videos on their phones for various reasons. Also, they may not be accustomed to doing so or find it inconvenient.

Laptops provide a larger viewing area than smartphones. Additionally, if one has their computer open, why not play it from that device rather than pulling out another?

According to Chen, the manufacturer quickly fixed the issue by adding a customized filter to the audio pipeline. The filter could identify and eliminate disruptive sounds during audio playback. In addition, this technique should have been able to resolve the issue.

As the filter was added years ago and applied to older models, Chen expressed the hope that laptops are no longer equipped with an audio filter designed to protect against damage to a model of hard drive they no longer utilize.

Visual Observations Of Janet Jackson’s ‘Rhythm Nation’ Malfunction

Janet’s Instagram account reposted a clip from Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O radio show. The clip shows a team of staffers holding three laptops up to a speaker playing “Rhythm Nation.” As a result, two of the three computers crashed on camera.

“That’s spooky!” Kyle says as he watches the laptop screens turn black and the radio station’s speakers blast “Rhythm Nation.”

It would not be surprising if this situation became a global experiment. What person would not find it amusing to test out old music videos to determine whether or not they are susceptible to crashing older models of laptop computers? The only downside to this experiment is that, if it becomes a worldwide test, those with only one laptop, preferably an older model, should avoid taking the risk. However, a person owning several older model laptops also faces a lower risk.

The ‘Rhythm Nation’ Album Was A Success

In 1989, Janet Jackson released the song “Rhythm Nation” on her Rhythm Nation 1814 album. The album reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In addition, the composition has become one of the all-time classic hits for the “You Want This” singer.

There was an extended music video accompanied by Janet Jackson’s album, which featured the lead single. Jackson received several awards for this song, including the Grammy Award for the best music video, long form, an MTV Video Music Award for best choreography in a video, and a Soul Train Music Award for best video.

The Hip-Hop World Mourns Bruno “Pop N Taco” Falcon

The iconic choreographer Bruno “Pop N Taco” Falcon has tragically died. Take a look at his impressive career and long-lasting influences.

Bruno’s Prestige

According to Falcon’s sister Diana Wolgamott and a TMZ report, the West Coast breakdancer passed on this Saturday (Jul. 2) inside his residence. It is believed Bruno died of a heart attack. Currently, his death is considered of natural causes and no official autopsy will be performed.

Bruno Falcon is most known for his prolific work with Michael Jackson. However, even before adding the king of pop to his resume, he spent the entire 80s and 90s pioneering his own style. “Locking,” which can be seen in hip-hop dancers today, was perfected and popularized by Bruno. He truly cemented his status with the 1984 movie “Breakin” in which he starred as Electro Rock 1. The cult classic film also featured Ice T and Micheal Chambers.

Clearly, Ice T held the film experience close to his heart. He reacted to the news of Bruno’s untimely passing on Twitter the following day. The “Colors” rapper responded to a fan, who asked if he heard about the sad news. “Yep, just got a text. He was [too] young. Smh.”He typed.

Making His Mark

Following his role in “Breakin”, Falcon went on to star in other classics like “Moonwalker and Bill” and “Teds Bogus Journey.” Speaking of “Moonwalker,” the musical film put Bruno alongside Michael Jackson on the big screen for the first time. The dancing duo had a close-knit relationship. They played off each other flawlessly professionally and personally. “Smooth criminal” is perhaps his most iconic work. since 1987 fans have been recreating that lean move, and Falcon is the man responsible. Aside from this, he served as Micheal’s choreographer for his HIStory tour. It’s no exaggeration to say he had a hand in the imagery that sculpted Micheal Jackson’s career.

In addition to his accomplishments with Micheal, Bruno has worked with Chaka Khan, Janet Jackson, and Latoya Jackson. Obviously, Micheal made sure to give a glowing review to his siblings.

Janet Jackson shocked the world with news of her biography documentary. Friday, January 28th, the anticipated “Janet Jackson Documentary” premiered on the Lifetime network, highlighting the life of an icon.

A Change In The Narrtive

At one point, it was the norm to see posthumous biographical sketches of artists. Times, though, continue to change. Perhaps it’s the liberties taken with the narratives driving the change. The truth is, there is not much an artist can do to set the record straight posthumously.

Why Janet Jackson and Why Now?

As Jackson so blatantly put it in the first minutes of the documentary,

“It’s all about control, control of her narrative!”

We dig that.

Janet Jackson’s biography is an intimate and also authentic look into Janet Jackson’s life from childhood to the present. She tells her family’s story in a manner that has never been related, and that is the crux of the presentation.

Jackson’s life hasn’t also been a bed of roses. And in Janet Jackson’s biography, she expresses time and time again the struggles of growing up in a famous family. This is understandable. Inarguably, The Jackson Five is one of the most prolific groups to hit the music scene. Amazingly, their music became the soundtrack for generations. And the relevancy of their music lives on.

In the biography, Janet Jackson did not only live in the shadow of her superstar brothers but one brother in particular. Sadly Janet fought to come from under the shadow of Michael Jackson. Yet, despite her struggle, she went to work making good on her drive to reach icon status, a merited honor.

Jackson’s Post Interview: A Little On Music

In a post-interview, Jackson is asked when she will release new music. Unbelievably, for those unaware, there is an original single, “Luv,” found in the documentary’s soundtrack, and it is fire. According to Jackson in her interview on “That Grape Juice,” She wrote”Luv” three years ago. She has a lot more music that is yet to be released. And when asked who she would like to collaborate with, her response Andersen Paak and Bruno Mars!

All we can say is, wow, that collaboration would be mind-blowing if it were to happen.

Janet Jackson’s Biography is brilliant. Those who watch will definitely leave knowing more about the icon and her fantastic family. Finally,  much applause to Janet for her courage and stepping up to take control of her life and narrative. In the artist’s words,

“I got a chance to tell my story and not have someone else tell it for me!”

That’s real and laudable.

Janet Jackson‘s two-part documentary was presented to fans this past weekend on the Lifetime Network. It covers her long and entertaining life; from growing up in the Jackson Five household, to the relationship she’s had with music producer Jermaine Dupri. Many fans and spectators of her career tuned in watch. They discovered the known details of her life along with the hidden ones. In part two, one hidden detail that caught the eyes of many viewers last night was Jermaine Dupri cheating on Janet.

Jermaine’s Infidelity

Jermaine unremorsefully admitted to cheating on Janet. Viewers say he jokingly confessed to it after he smirked and giggled following the confession. Also, he is believed to be blaming Janet in the mist of her fault by alluding to her attracting other females toward him.

“One of the weird things is that dating Janet attracts other women – girls wanted to talk to me more because I was dating her… and I’m a man.”

This comment showed how he felt about the situation from a standpoint of just the act itself. However, Janet addressed that him cheating wasn’t the only thing she was concerned about. She expressed that saying ” I had heard that he was cheating, but there were other things… I needed more than he was giving me.” Janet understood what was going on, but she only cared for his time when he done with his work. She wanted a relationship that primarily focused on just her and him.

Fan’s Opinions

News of infidelity was definitely disappointing for fans.. Some were in a total uproar but most of them made jokes and insults about the incident on twitter. Many of them were addressing how lucky he was to have the opportunity to date her. They were also saying he blew that opportunity and criticizing his audacity for taking advantage of her. One thing for sure is that media and the public does not like cheaters. Especially if it has to deal with a couple that is different from each other in appearance and talent.

Janet Jackson Clears the Air, There is no Hidden Child

After decades, Janet Jackson finally addressed a long-standing rumor.

For years, speculation regarding Janet and a child she kept secret from the world permeated the media. In a simple statement, Ms. Jackson cleared up decades of rumor,

“I could never keep a child away from James,”

The bottom line is there was no hidden child. That is as clear as one can get.

However, that is not all which can be gleaned from the icons statement. Janet Jackson’s words speak for themselves, making it blatantly apparent that Jackson had an endearing love for James Debarge. Debarge battled with addiction, and she could not help him in the manner Debarge needed or Jackson wanted. In Janet’s words,

“I knew that he needed help. But I wasn’t the help that he needed.”

So that closed a chapter for the pop Queen.

When did this all start?

In the ’80s, Janet was forging her career in the entertainment industry. Fresh off the “Good Times” set, she branched out, taking on more roles. In 1984, the young budding icon married her first love, James DeBarge. Unfortunately, the rising pop star’s marriage did not last long. However, Janet went on to conquer the music industry by storm.

Why the rumors?

According to a recent statement, Janet believed the stories arose because of her weight gain.

“A lot of the kids thought I was pregnant, ’cause I had gained weight, and I had started taking birth control pills.”

However, Janet assured the public she was not pregnant. It was not out of the ordinary to gain weight while on birth control pills… That is a clear and solid explanation.

Janet’s Time to Tell Her Story

As much as possible, Janet closed herself from the world. As a result, very little was confirmed about Janet’s personal affairs. Janet didn’t need to continue responding. She had already spoken her truth several times. Still, after everything, the rumors kept coming. And she held to her truth, firmly denying every accusation. These include statements from the Debarge family. Honestly, her decision to maintain strength in the face of pressure is astonishing and praiseworthy.

Why is Janet Opening Up Now?

There is a time for everything. This season is Janet’s season. Clearing the rumors is not her focus; instead, telling the world the story of her life. In an upcoming biofilm, she reveals the blueprint of everything: her artistry, career, life, and love. So, tomorrow January 28th, fans will get a more intimate peek into the “Control” performers’ life. The bio sketch will be a two-part program airing on Lifetime and A&E networks. Justin Timberlake Receives Backlash After Janet Jackson Super Bowl Documentary Premieres

Justin Timberlake is once again facing backlash over what happened to Janet Jackson at their 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

In the latest New York Times documentary, Malfunction: The Dressing Down of Janet Jackson, fans and viewers got a clear picture of Jackson’s amazing career leading up to one of the biggest controversies in music history. Although there were no big reveals, the documentary does paint a vivid picture. It covers how the culture reacted to the brief wardrobe malfunction that exposed Jackson’s nipple on primetime TV, and how it changed the entertainment industry forever.

In the new documentary, it’s suggested that only three people know what happened leading up to the halftime show. Those three are Jackson, Timberlake, and her costume designer. The three spoke alone before the performance without any producers present.

The Criticism of Justin Timberlake

Following the release of the Framing Britney Spears documentary in February, Timberlake not only received criticism for his actions against his former pop star girlfriend but against Jackson as well. That behavior is once again highlighted in Malfunction, which shows Timberlake’s post-performance interview in stark contrast with his apologetic statements after the fact. Eventually, he circles back to joking about the incident years later.

Since both documentaries aired, social media made sure to voice their opinions on Justin Timberlake.

JT responds

Following the original criticism in February, Timberlake apologized to Jackson and Spears in a lengthy Instagram post.

“I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right,” he wrote on Instagram nearly 20 years after the fallout of his relationship with Spears and 17 years after the Super Bowl moment. “I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others”, he continued. “And benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism.”

Janet Jackson did not respond publicly to Timberlake’s apology.  Moreover, she was not interviewed for Malfunction. However, she will discuss the incident in a two-part, four-hour documentary that will air in 2022 titled, Janet.
