Grammy Awards 2022: Best Looks From The Red Carpet

The biggest music event of the year returns! On April 3, the 64th 2022 Grammy Awards opened at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This year’s top artists’ received awards in categories such as an album of the year and song of the year. Hosted by Trevor Noah, the ceremony included performances by Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, Nas, H.E.R., J Balvin, and many others.

Moreover, last night, the Grammy red carpet was something to behold before the show aired live. You didn’t want to miss it. Similarly, there is a history of the Grammys veering away from the usual fashion in favor of riskier, more daring fashion choices than at the Oscars or Golden Globes. Furthermore, are you familiar with J.Lo’s plunging Versace dress in 2000 or Lil Kim‘s pasty purple moment from the previous year? The Grammys are all about being unique and making a statement!

This year’s evening featured notable fashion moments, too, given guest stars such as Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish. In addition to the red carpet, we also witnessed artists stunning styles on stage during their performances. Such performances are always noteworthy.

Look at what your favorite artists wore to the 2022 Grammy Awards below.

Artists’ Fashion Choices From The Grammy Awards In The Past

Furthermore, the Grammys is the most stylish for red carpet looks, especially compared to the more formal but still gorgeous Oscars. Similarly, founded in 1959, the Grammy Awards have allowed musicians to experiment and make bold statements, resulting in a range of looks that reflect eras and genres throughout time. Therefore, on this night every year, celebs embrace trends: It’s not timeless or classic. Instead, it’s a breath of fresh air filled with adventure and risk.

Below, you can see what musicians wore to the Grammys from the 70s to the 90s.

#FreshJuice Lady Gaga On Her Evolving Fashion | @ladygaga @MusicChoice

The iconic pop star, fashionista, and American Horror Story actress sits down with the people at Music Choice studios and explains some of her wacky fashion choices and how she decides on what to wear:

“I’m my best when I feel good…about me and when I feel comfortable 100% in my clothes, in my body and what I’m wearing. And if that means I need 50 seashells on my head, then somebody better find a glue gun because I have to go on at 9 o’clock and if that’s what I need to get to that place to be who I am…that’s what I need to do! And that’s just what makes me who I am. Um but this time around I just didn’t feel like doing that. And nobody around me was excited nor not excited. I think uh the focus on my team and for me anyway has been on making sure that I am walking and talking the philosophies that I’ve been saying for the last ten years of my career.”
