Like What!? We Can’t Get Enough Of Cardi B!

Cardi B Enough Miami Video

Cardi B is back with a hot new track after hot new track and is popping her lip! Big Bardi is talking a lotta Sugar Honey Ice Tea in freestyle drop ‘Like What‘? Then the Bronx rapper slams us with another hit for New Music Friday ‘Enough‘ (Miami) and jaw dropping video.

Cardi B released freestyle ‘Like What’ seemingly responding to all of her ops in one breath. The record is giving comedy to Bardi Gang, because her Libra whit was gleaming off of the track as she addresses how the Bardi Gang rejects all link up, but shall never prosper against her. We see her words become factual as she is bumping in every club, on top of the charts, on every blog and has every influencer trying to break bread with her!

Cardi B Charts Number 1

Lastly, it couldn’t go unnoticed her “Like What’ music video was directed by Belcalis husband, who we’re still not sure if its okay to say in the same sentence as her ’cause last we heard Cardi never lost no n!99a she needed, as she spits in the freestyle. Does that mean she didn’t loose him and they’re back in tact? Could she be done with his immaturity for real this time, but keeping family business moving. Perhaps the video was shot before he fumbled her for a third time. Either way, we are happy to see them working together and doing so in a big way because Cardi looked flawless in her video, per usual.

Lloyd Banks Says 50 Cent Helped Him In Songwriting

On July 14, Lloyd Banks passionately spoke about how 50 Cent helped him craft this musical piece. The rapper wanted to add a positive comment about his former mentor. The Primary discussion was mainly on the rapper’s new album “The Course of the Inevitable.”

After the one hour conversation with The Joe Budden Podcast, Banks described and flaunted 50 Cent for his “exceptional” songwriting skills. After all, 50 Cent deserves and is in fact known to be the “master of the nuanced art of lyrical brevity.” Moreover, he ruled the music industry in the 2000s by releasing his biggest hits. As once a member of the G-Unit group, Banks stated during that session, that many rappers don’t possess the gift of storytelling–even the most successful ones. That’s why Curtis James Jackson aka 50 Cent is respected among peers and other artists.

Lloyd Bank’s Writing Game

The 40-year-old rapper talked about 50’s evolution in the music industry and how he helped him become a master at perfecting his writing skills. Banks noticed how his lyrics differ from his other 2000s works, as he now writes four-bar pieces. In it, his first four are more potentially going to be dynamic’–grabbing the public’s full attention. As he slowly moves to his second four, he induces some breakdown stories. Furthermore, he said:

“The next four, it’s gonna be a little melodic cheat code. And that’s what I got from 50.“‘Cause I was always bar heavy. That’s why ‘Victory’ is 50 bars. That’s why ‘The Banks Workout’ is 50 bars, because I didn’t know structure. So I was just doing 50 bar verses. If it wasn’t 50 bars, I felt like I cheated you and myself,”

Banks learned the ropes by watching 50 cent recording. On July 15, he released his new album “The Course of the Inevitable 2″ featuring Benny The Butcher, Dave East and many more.

Banks and 50 Cent’s Friendship

Since Lloyd Banks joined G-Unit and with 50 Cent calling him lazy previous to his last album, the two had been a little distant from each other as fans noticed. Additionally, 50 cent expressed in his book “Hustle Harder” that Banks has not tapped into his full potential and he wished he could have taught him how to change his habits.

However, in his interview with GQ, the musician talked a bit about his relationship with 50 saying he boosted his motivation last time they spoke to each other.

“It’s the same. We’re brothers,” Banks said. “We came into this together—we’re never all going to be doing the same thing at the same time at this point in our careers.

For the optimistic rapper, positive moments are what matter most and his brotherhood with 50 cent and Tony Yayo will always remain strong. No matter the rumors or news, he confirmed that his bond with them are still the same.

Banks Talks 50 Cent Relationship And The Last Conversation They Ever Had

Lloyd Banks talks 50 Cent relationship after 50 called him lazy in the 2020 book “Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter.” In a recent GQ magazine interview, Lloyd discusses where the former G-Unit members stand and what took place during their last conversation.

Banks Talks 50 Cent Relationship And What Happened In Their Last Conversation

Back in 2020 50 Cent called out Banks, which left fans wondering what is happening in their relationship today. The “Candy Shop” artist said he feels like he could have done more to teach Banks how to evolve his habits, and that his former groupmate has “unfulfilled potential.” He continues to say that while he was out “hustling” Lloyd was happy to be sitting back and waiting for things to come to him–instead of going out and getting them. Although he does call him lazy, 50 points out that he’s not trying to “assassinate his character” since he has “Lazy Lloyd” tattooed on his arm.

Despite these words in 50’s book however, Lloyd recently gave praise to his former mentor. “He wasn’t just a writer, he was an exceptional songwriter. Some of the biggest artist weren’t the best songwriters – he was,” he said. He also gives 50 credit for everything he learned simply from watching him record.

Banks touches on relationship with 50 Cent even more by saying “we’re brothers.” He highlighted the fact that they came into the game together. They’re not going to be doing to same thing at the same time anymore. He even goes into detail about their last conversation. He said the advice 50 gave him was to get whatever was left out there and even though their relationship is no where near what it was during the G-Unit days Banks says he “can’t cry over spilled milk.” They did something special that will never be done again and that is something to be celebrated.

Brooklyn, NY rapper Rowdy Rebel said he has not been paid by his label Epic Records since 2014. In a deleted Instagram response, Rowdy threatened to stop releasing music until he gets paid what’s owed, stating “I’m not dropping no more music until @epicrecords pay me.”

Rowdy signed his deal with Epic around the same time as his friends & label mate Bobby Shmurda. The GS9 duo was sentenced to federal prison for the rest of the 2010s decade alongside their GS9 group.

Rowdy & Bobby’s Struggle With Epic Records

Rowdy & Bobby took the industry by storm with several hot singles bubbling out of New York during their 2014 run. Since those releases, both artists openly shared how their label did very little to support them through their legal troubles. During his sentence, Epic Records dropped Rowdy from their roster but has resigned him since his release. While Rowdy Rebel has not been paid, Bobby is having issues with the creative control of his music. In a deleted Instagram post earlier this month he expressed, “I ain’t been in charge of my music since I was 19 years old and I just turned 27 and honestly idk when sh*t dropping so don’t ask me sh*t go ask them mf’s since they wanna control everything!!!!!!!”

Final Thoughts On Rowdy Rebel vs. Epic

We don’t have access to Rowdy Rebel’s newly signed agreement with Epic Records, but there’s no excuse for withholding what’s owed. Both Rowdy & Bobby have provided so much for the label since they originally signed in 2014. Hopefully, he can continue releasing singles or an album while these issues are getting sorted out. Bobby Shmurda is Released From Prison

Rapper Bobby Shmurda has been released from prison in New York!

The rapper was sentenced to seven years in prison in October 2016 after pleading guilty to conspiracy and weapon possessions as part of a plea deal.

Shmurda’s prison release date was reported to be bumped up to Tuesday, 10 months earlier than the scheduled release, due to good behavior and prison program participation.

This past Monday, Shmurda’s new Instagram account posted a music video displaying clips from the 1990 crime movie, “Kings of New York,” seemingly giving hints to a comeback. “How the f—c y’all forget about me,” the caption read.

Since his release, his Instagram shot up to over 2 million followers and is already verified.

Although Shmurda has racked up 11 violations, including allegedly having a shank, drug possession, and fighting, it looks like he turned things around for the betterment of his career.
