Kanye West Reports Paparazzi to Police After Heated Argument

Kanye West has had yet another tense and chaotic run in with the press, now the law is continuing to get involved.

According to a TMZ report, West arrived at Los Angeles County Sheriff’s West Hollywood Station on Tuesday (Feb 14). Sources connected to LA Law enforcement say Kanye was speaking to deputies regarding a verbal argument he had with paparazzi.

The former Adidas mogul told authorities he asked paparazzi to stop recording him earlier that day. Apparently, this was ignored and an argument broke out. While things nearly turned into physical violence , the two were able to diffuse the situation. The LA West Hollywood sheriff is currently investigating the altercation.

Kanyes Zero Tolerance Policy

This is another addition to Kanye’s recent issues with paparazzi. Last month, he was named as a suspect in a criminal investigation after he was filmed arguing with a woman caught recording him from her car.

“If I wanna go see my son at a game, y’all ain’t gonna run up on me like that. If I say stop – stop with your cameras,” Kanye asserted before taking the phone and tossing it into the street.

Ventura County police quickly made their way to the scene, using the video taken from the passenger seats perspective as proof.

That same day, Kanye had a second disagreement, this time with a fan. The Donda artist pulled up next to the unnamed man and demanded he stop taking pictures of him and his kids.

“Would you want me to be running up on your kids’ games like that? I wanna just see my kids,” he argued. “Everybody gotta stop when I see my kids. I don’t care how many of you there are. You wanna hear what I want you to do? I need to see my kids without you photographing me. It’s called human rights.”

For now , no arrests have been made in connection to any of these incidents.

LeBron James Comes To Tom Hanks Defense After Yelling At Paparazzi

LeBron James is on Tom Hanks’ side. In a recent video clip, Hanks understandably lost his cool after the paparazzi and fans were swarming him and his wife Rita Wilson. As the couple was heading to their car, a fan got too close to both of them, which led to Wilson almost falling to the ground. Hanks eventually turned around and yelled, “Back the f*ck off!” before getting into his car.

Shortly after the video went around on the internet, the entrepreneur took to Twitter to comment on the video. “I just saw the Tom Hanks clip of his wife almost being trampled over by the paparazzi. What the fuck ever happened to personal space??” he tweeted. See the full tweet below.

Paparazzi Vs. Celebrities

Along with Hanks and Wilson, other celebrities have had their share of hectic paparazzi interactions. In 2014, Katy Perry tweeted a photo of a lengthy note she wrote calling out the Australian paparazzi. The note read “You should be ashamed of your paparazzi & tabloid culture. Your paparazzi have no respect, no integrity, no character. NO HUMANITY.” She then describes her experience with older men stalking her on a beach. The men continued after she continuously told them to give her her space.

In 2013, Kanye West walked out to Paparazzi at his house at 4 am. After one photographer asked West how he was doing, he replied “Y’all out here trying to make money off us. That’s how it’s going. It’s 4 am. It’s 4 am and you ask me how it’s going. You know I don’t want you to say nothing to me,” he said. While the paparazzi are out there trying to take the best photos for money, as human beings, they should understand that celebrities are humans too and need their personal space. Not only can it be mentally exausting for them, but also a safety hazard to getting that “perfect shot.”

Lil Baby Claps Back To Paparazzi In Spanish After Kanye Question

It seems as if Lil Baby doesn’t want to be bothered by paparazzi after a video dropped with the rapper declining to comment on Kanye West’s ongoing personal issues, since he responds to them in Spanish. The footage, captured on February 11, shows Baby with Meek Mill. They were leaving a Super Bowl party at famous restaurateur Salt Bae’s Los Angeles Steakhouse in Beverly Hills.

While wading through a stream of reporters, Lil Baby simply responded with “Me no hablo Ingles” in Spanish, when asked about the ongoing drama in Kanye’s divorce. The Donda artist has been calling out his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, on Instagram over the last few weeks.

Kanye has also lashed out at Kim’s new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, and fellow artists Billie Eilish and Kid Cudi. These could be some topics that reporters wanted Lil Baby to address, though not in Spanish.

A recap of Kanye’s drama

The social media war between Kanye and Kim seems to have started when Ye was denied access to his daughter Chicago’s birthday party last month. He later informed fans that Travis Scott gave him the address, allowing him to attend the party.

Recently, Kanye has also exchanged words with Kid Cudi over Cudi’s friendship with Pete Davidson. This resulted in Cudi being cut from DONDA 2, Ye’s latest album, which will drop on February 22.

In recent weeks, Billie Eilish has also come under fire from West over an alleged Travis Scott diss. After stopping to help a struggling fan at her Atlanta concert, Eilish commented, “I wait for people to be okay before I keep going.” Kanye then blasted the pop star on Instagram, demanding an apology. Billie responded by saying that her comment had nothing to do with Trav.

Meanwhile, Kanye and actress Julia Fox announced their breakup earlier this week. The couple had been dating since early January.

What Lil Baby’s response could mean

Like Eilish, Lil Baby will headline Coachella this year. The My Turn rapper’s reluctance to answer questions about Ye’s issues in languages, other than Spanish, could be an effort to avoid becoming a target himself.

Kid Cudi Almost Gets Into Fight With Paparazzi Over Kanye Question, Posts Emotional Message

Kanye is clearly a sensitive topic for Kid Cudi, even when the paparazzi ask.

Following a social media battle a few days earlier, Kid Cudi was out and about in Inglewood, California, for the Super Bowl LVI(Feb. 13). After the Bengals/Rams game came to a close, the ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ rapper walked outside the stadium when some paparazzi approached.

The clip starts out mild, with Kid Cudi initially ignoring the paparazzi. However, things quickly get tense when the cameraman asks about Kanye West. Upon being asked, “Any words for Kanye, man?” Kid Cudi immediately starts approaching the paparazzi with a clearly irritated facial expression. The short scuffle then ended with Kid Cudi being led away from the paparazzi by his own security. Judging by the brief shuffle of the camera, things could’ve gotten a lot more violent. “Let’s go, let’s go,” the rapper is heard saying after the run-in.

While paparazzi nearly got in a sticky situation, the question to Kid Cudi about the Chicago rapper is no shock. Kid Cudi and Kanye West have had an interesting relationship, to say the least. One full of internet brawls, onstage make-ups, and hit song collaborations. Their latest conflict is surrounding Cudi’s friendship with Pete Davidson. Davidson is currently in a romantic relationship with Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Both parties haven’t acknowledged the paparazzi encounter since it occurred.

A cryptic prayer

Earlier today (Feb. 15), Kid Cudi took to Instagram to share his inner thoughts on the scuffle with the paparazzi.

“God…please watch over me and keep my mind sane. I could use it right now. To anyone that feels alone, in with you, and I love you,” the post reads. Cudi hasn’t been shy about his struggles with mental health in the past. In addition to it being a common theme in his music, he had a stint in rehab for “depression and suicidal urges” in late 2016. He subsequently left rehab that following year.

Judging by his Instagram post, he seems aware of his mental health and is concerned with keeping positive. It’s also possible the Kanye question from the paparazzi garnered a reaction in Kid Cudi. The highly negative interaction took place between them only days prior.

Regardless, it’s clear Cudi needs good vibes sent his way from fans and non-fans alike.
