PnB Rock’s Murder Investigation Focusing On Past Beefs

PnB Rock’s murder investigation is now shifting focus to his past beefs. According to TMZpolice are under the impression that the Philly rapper’s killing may not have been random. Instead, it may have been deliberately planned by Rock’s enemies.

The focus shifts in PnB Rock’s death

PnB Rock’s investigation is currently under the direction of the LAPD, with detectives digging into his personal life. The main focus is on those who Rock may have butted heads with, leading to potential beefs. Investigators are also interested in his connections to Atlanta, where he spent quite a bit of time. The “Selfish” artist’s lyrics have also been looked at to see if he referenced any enemies.

As everyone knows, PnB Rock was sharing a meal with his girlfriend at a Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in LA last Monday when he was attacked and killed. Police initially thought it was a robbery gone wrong, with the killers being random thieves who came across the rapper’s location on social media. But due to the deliberate nature of the crime, the LAPD believe that the killing may be part of a vendetta.

Leads in the investigation

The police are also trying to identify the suspects and/or the getaway car. Per TMZ, they are trying to track it down through camera feeds. But even with the assistance of tips, it’s taking time to see which leads are legit.

Police have also dismissed the idea that Rock’s girlfriend, Steph, had anything to do with his murder. Outraged fans put forth the idea that she posted their location on purpose to set Rock up. However, she isn’t believed to have been involved with the crime in any way.

PnB Rock’s body is set to be released to his family after a drawn out process. His mother did not want an autopsy performed on religious grounds, but under the law, one had to be performed.

Ice-T Speaks On LA Gang Culture Following PnB Rock’s Death

Ice-T addressed the reality of LA gang culture on Wednesday following the death of PnB Rock. While his comments didn’t directly reference the Philly rapper’s tragic passing, they brought to life just how dangerous LA can be, even for celebrities. The Law & Order: SVU star made links between hip-hop stars’ lack of jewelry and LA’s sharp rise in crime.

“People are still hitting me up about my comments about LA gang culture,” Ice-T explained on Twitter. “If you notice, LA rappers don’t wear a lotta jewelry…Me, Snoop, Cube, Dre, Game, Kendrick. The list goes on…It’s not cause we’re broke. LA is just a dangerous place, rapper or not. Why test the streets.”

The gangsta rap legend did go on to say that some stars do wear jewelry, but said many only wear expensive pieces on “certain occasions” because of the risk of theft.

“That’s on certain occasions when you’re ready for whatever…I have big jewelry too…but you don’t wake up EVERYDAY and put it on to go down the block,” he explained.

The death of Pnb Rock

Ice-T’s statements came just after the fatal shooting of PnB Rock which took place in LA on Monday. The 30-year-old was gunned down during a robbery, with his jewelry reportedly stolen as the suspect fled the scene. His death is one of the latest incidents in Los Angeles as the city experiences a rise in crime.

The robbery occurred soon after the rapper’s girlfriend posted their location in a since deleted Instagram post. Police are investigating whether that sparked the attack. They have also notified pawn shops to be on the lookout for Rock’s stolen jewelry and other items.

Instagram has been at the heart of several crimes in recent years. New York rapper Pop Smoke was killed in February 2020 during an armed robbery. He had accidentally revealed his location in an Instagram post. Celebrities such as Kim Kardashian have also been robbed after posting jewelry and other accessories on social media.

#FMTrends: PnB Rock feat. Russ “Issues” New Single

PnB Rock feat. Russ “Issues” New Single

PnbRock is giving his fans Drake vibes in his new song “Issues” featuring Russ. The Philly artist seemed to pour out his feelings in this four minute song. With almost 180K views on YouTube, PnbRock starts off the song with his infamous “Yeah Yeah Yeah” faded in the background.
The chorus mainly consists of him admitting to having some “Issues” mainly because he has a girl he can’t stay faithful too. Hence the chorus: “I got some issues I know that I can’t hide/ ‘cause I got a bitch but fuck hoes on the side”

Joining him on the song is Atlanta rapper Russ. He’s known for his outspoken comments and honesty. Together and paired with producer Ness on the Beat made the song pop! Russ goes on to say in his verse that he had “the sauce” before the fame and fortune.
In my opinion, the cover of the single is dope as well. The red title is printed on the black solid background. The center of the cover is the silhouette of a lady kneeling. I find this significant because of the issues surrounding Collin Kaepernick. Within the lady of kneeling are photos of the 2017 XXL Freshman.
Nonetheless, “Issues” is only one song out of an 18 track album. “Catch These Vibes” is releasing on November 17th with features from Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Roy Woods, Smokepurpp and more.

Check out the song below and comment your opinions!
