Juror Excused From R. Kelly Child Pornography Trial And Replaced

R. Kelly is currently on trial again, this time in Chicago. Following the closing arguments, one juror had a panic attack and was excused. According to the woman, she couldn’t take “one minute more.” She has been replaced by a male juror in his 60s. According to USA Today, Kelly is on trial for “enticing minors for sex.” However, he isn’t the only one on the chopping block. He’s being tried alongside Derrel McDavid and Milton ‘June’ Brown, who allegedly conspired to hide evidence regarding his 2008 child porn trial. His lead attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, pointed out that the evidence of these crimes is based on accounts from “perjurers, blackmailers, and extortionists.” She mentioned Kelly’s ex, Lisa Van Allen, and merchandiser Charles Freeman. She then painted them as unreliable narrators. At one point, she compared the prosecution and Kelly’s accusers to cockroaches in soup.

You don’t just pull out the cockroach and eat the rest of the soup. There are just too many cockroaches.

Earlier in the week, Bonjean called for a mistrial twice. She claimed the prosecution’s arguments are based on the assumption R. Kelly is definitively a predator. However, the judge denied Bonjean’s requests. The prosecution delivered their rebuttal, saying Kelly used his power and influence to abuse his victims. According to prosecutor Elizabeth Pazolo,

Robert Kelly abused many girls over many years … and he didn’t do it alone … the hidden side of Robert Kelly has come to light. The truth has come out.

Robert Kelly, Up Until Now

Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison earlier this year. The 55-year-old was found guilty in New York of racketeering and sex trafficking. Bonjean tried to argue the singer himself was a victim of abuse, but it had no effect on the verdict. Following this sentence, he was put on suicide watch. Many considered the verdict a victory for abuse victims, but some of his peers, including Boosie Badazz and Chuck D questioned the decision. Both think Kelly needs help, and a less excessive sentence.

The jury began deliberations for the Chicago trial, Tuesday.

Accuser Calls For Tiffany Haddish And Aries Spears To Be Arrested Due To Alleged Sexual Abuse

The actress Tiffany Haddish and comedian Aries Spears seem to be in a very sticky situation.

Who Is The Accuser Of Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears?

According to an anonymous woman, Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears are accused of child sexual abuse due to their participation in a comedy sketch. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office has been asked to have them arrested as soon as possible.

While certain acts are not intentionally intended to harm others, they may appear to be so to others.

A woman referred to as Jane Doe, who is 22 years old, has filed a lawsuit alleging that, at 14, she and her young brother, identified as John Doe, who was seven years old at the time, were manipulated and taped, committing sexually inappropriate acts in 2014.

Alleged Negative Experiences

Jane and John were filmed under cover of a comedy sketch addressing predatory behavior without supervision by a guardian. Also, there was widespread speculation that the sketch was initially titled “The Mind of a Pedophile.”

As a participant in a comedy summer camp in 2013, Jane allegedly had a negative experience when Haddish asked her to imitate sexual acts for a performance on camera. It caused her to feel utterly disgusted and nervous due to the occasion.

Even if the act’s purpose is for entertainment, it is never appropriate to request that a minor perform sexual activities. Victims could be left with a permanent mental scar if exposed to such a situation. In addition, those who initiated such acts may face life-threatening consequences due to their actions.

Lawsuit

As part of her lawsuit, Jane also details an incident from 2014 in which she alleges her brother was included in a video called “Through A Pedophile’s Eyes.” As reported by Insider, the video shows Spears fantasizing over and molesting the 7-year-old child. According to the complaint, Haddish was present when the sketch was filmed.

Moreover, NBC News and other media outlets report that Jane Doe sent a letter to the District Attorney’s office. In the letter, she informed them that she and her brother were ready to speak with detectives and prosecutors regarding the allegations central to the case.

Furthermore, Jane asserted that she would provide convincing evidence that supports the accusations against Spears and Haddish.

“This matter’s breadth and complexity require your jurisdictional powers and resources to tackle and end the stream (of) depravity committed by Haddish and Spears,” wrote Jane Doe to District Attorney George Gascón on Monday.

Furthermore, the Girl’s Trip actress and Spears are being sued on behalf of minors who have suffered forcible emotional distress, negligent behavior, sexual battery, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse of a child.

Separate Lawsuit

In addition, a separate lawsuit has been filed against Haddish. It states that she is being sued for failing to supervise, omitting warnings, fiduciary misconduct, and conspiring to commit deceit.

Tiffany And Aries Respond To The Allegations

On Monday morning, Tiffany responded to the accusations on Instagram.

“I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now.”

In addition, on Wednesday, Aries posted a clip on Instagram expressing gratitude to his supporters for remaining loyal to him. However, he could not discuss the scandal much due to legal reasons.

“Listen, this is an extortion case,” he said. “This is a shakedown.”

In reference to himself and Haddish, he added, “We will not be shaken down.”

Raz Simone Sued By Five Women For Sex Trafficking And Violent Threats

Multiple women sued Rapper Raz Simone for sex abuse.

According to Hip Hop DX, 4 out of 5 women reported the Seattle rapper sex-trafficked them. Pearl, an alleged victim, claims the 32-year-old sex trafficked and abused her until 2017, when she escaped. Pearl describes her experience as being extremely gruesome. She said that Simone would lock her in a small room for a while when she was not submissive. He would also rape her there.

Raz Simone Sued for Sex Trafficking.

Bill Guyer, a former police detective, investigated Pearl’s situation and the stories from other women also. Finally, after years of waiting, five women filed a civil lawsuit.

Raz Simone Denies Sex Trafficking Allegations.

“It’s been a plan they put together years back. The money’s on the line, and they’re using it like a class-action lawsuit,” Simone stated. His attorney, Corinne Mullen, chimed in to say she believes this lawsuit will soon end.

Simone denies all allagations made against him.

“Young, vulnerable women” involved in sex work are the victims Simone targets, court documents show. The Plaintiffs state, “He wins them over with affection, and pitches the relationship as a chance to grow, find success and be a part of his family.”

The women also claim that they must’ve brought him a decent amount of money to stay on Simone’s good side. He would have them strip or perform other sexual acts in which he would take their money after. He also enforced strict rules on their diet and how they could act, and if the girls did not comply, he would threaten them and get violent.

Each of the women is reported to seek $1 million for the pain and suffering they had endured.
