After an argument at an Atlanta bowling alley went left, one of the mothers of Young Thug’s children was killed. Unfortunately, a fight over a bowling ball led to the untimely death of the 31-year-old. Police are investigating & searching for LaKevia Jackson’s murderer.

The unidentified suspect allegedly waited for her at the alley’s parking lot before taking her life. Tori Cooper, a reporter for CBS, was able to get in touch with Jackson’s mother. Her mother gave some insight & context on LaKevia Jackson’s plans that day and expressed that she & Thug’s son “aren’t doing well.”

IDK is on the grind!

With his upcoming album, ‘USEE4YOURSELF,’ coming to us on July 9th, IDK’s got a sneak peek for us. At midnight, the DMV rapper is putting out ‘PradadaBang,’ featuring none other than Young Thug.

It’s no secret that adding a Thugger feature is a cheat code at this point. With IDK’s remarkable versatility, it’s really cool to see him expand into the world of more popular trap, conversely, seeing Thugger branch out too. One of the other singles, ‘Shoot My Shot,’ features Offset, furthering IDK’s trap credentials. As expected, it’s a banger. However, IDK manages to keep it just as lyrical as it is fun.

While we can expect IDK and Thug’s style’s to merge well, there’s no doubt that IDK’s style will still command the song. Not one to get washed by a feature, with a very strong style himself, we can assume that ‘PradadaBang’ will be layered with a dramatic but banger replay value. We’re excited!

Beyond the music, IDK is proving himself to be one of the more interesting figures in the modern Hip-Hop scene. Out of nowhere he went and got himself a deal with Nike! Taking to Twitter, he shares a picture of him holding up a “Welcome IDK” cake with the iconic swoosh on the bottom. There are few details about the shoes’ design and release but they’ll surely be interesting.

Beyond Nike, IDK is also working with Harvard University. In a 10 day program called “No Label Academy,” the unique MC teaches music business and entrepreneurship to students of color. Given IDK’s backstory, it’s impressive to see him achieve such high level and influential accomplishments.
