According to a source, TMZ recently ran a story on Teyana Taylor’s defensive stance on the Travis Scott matter.
The first line of the article read,
“Teyana Taylor is defending Travis Scott for not stopping his Astroworld show as people in the audience were in peril, because she says crowd safety falls on more than just the artist.”
So, when Taylor got wind of the story running, she quickly made her rebuttal, citing the coverage as inflammatory.
“R U serious for this headline???”
The Facts Please
Teyana Taylor was more than displeased, and she let the media outlet know precisely how she felt.
“I barely even wanted to talk to you motha f*****. Always MISLEADING headlines.”
And there is no denying she had every right to be upset. However, currently, there is no official word on TMZ’s response to Taylor’s comments. And it begs the question, is a retraction in order?
Teyana Taylor Set’s the Record Straight
While there are varying opinions on Travis Scott’s reaction to events during the concert, they are simply opinions. And Teyana wants to ensure she sets the record straight, letting the world know exactly where she stands.
“I don’t get in the middle of all that stuff. At the end of the day.”
And before summing up her feelings, she was sure to include that how she handles her fans is the entirely different matter and has nothing to do with the tragic Astroworld incident.
Tensions are undoubtedly high following the tragedy. But in times such as these, the only thing that really matters is the facts.
