The Game is looking to conquer the rap god. The artist appears in the latest episode of UPROXX hosted by Just Blaze and Katty Customs. Among other topics, The Game also speaks on 50 Cent and reignites the conversation to challenge Eminem in a Verzuzrap battle.
Therefore, the artist desires to take on the self-proclaimed rap god instead of his long-term rival, 50 Cent. But then, the record producer Just Blaze raises why The Game specifically targetsEminem as the Verzuz battle opponent. The Compton native then explains, “Because 50 can’t rap, and so I got to go a level up and challenge the better rapper.”
The former G-Unit rappers have been dissing one another on social media. Recently, 50 Cent created an Instagram post that mocks the California rapper ignored by record executive Jimmy Iovine.
However, The Game has a full clip of ammunition to fire back on each occurrence. “Your rap career died wit them loli pop strap tank tops … you a actor, [and] that’s why you ran to tv […],” the artist comments in retaliation. “Leave this rap shit to negus who can spell correctly and actually got bars, goofy negu!”
So, Why The Game Targets Em?
The Game admits he supports 50’s television productions, Power, BMF, and a couple more. Still, he insists 50 Cent cannot out-rap him. Therefore, Eminem is the target. The Game shares that he initially thought the 8 Mile rapper was untouchable. Today, he attributes that praise to label and media hype.
“At one point in my career, I was thinking Em was better than Jay because Source magazine said Eminem got Jay on that verse.”
Since the self-proclaimed legend has grown in the rap game, he now denies that the Detroit rapper is better than him.
“To take a shot at Em like that just doesn’t sit well with people because to them he’s a Rap God,” The Game continues. “And I just feel like a Rap God where?”
The Game believes battling Slim Shady will provoke a “rap riot.” Denoting that the rap god title inherently holds a lot of weight. As the rap god, Eminem should put the Black Wallstreet rapper in check if he wants to have that title.
“Nobody really takes shots at Eminem off this preconceived notion that he is better than everybody,” the artist says. “Well, I want action, and I want it today.”
“God controls everything. So if you’re a Rap God, control me.”
The Game is working on “The Black Slim Shady” diss record. The date has yet to be released.
