The Notorious B.I.G NFT Collection is on the mouth of many hip-hop lovers. Christopher George Latore Wallace, often known as Biggie Smalls or Notorious B.I.G., had a profound influence on the hip-hop community. His bars and fluid rapping comprise the anthems of many hip-hop heads. Unfortunately though, he died of gunshot wounds in 1997 at age 24 from a drive by shooting in Los Angeles, causing a premature end to his life and career. His legacy remains as undoubtedly one of the top 5 hip-hop legends.
Biggie’s hometown of New York City turned out full force in May to celebrate his 50th birthday. His official page on Twitter announced the birthday with a tweet that reads, “Happy 50th Birthday B.I.G.!!” It further reveals a forthcoming launch of “The Biggie Avatar,” available on a Hyperrealistic Metaverse experience called “The Brook,” which promises a “REAL” user experience. This means fans can now own a unique part of the rapper’s career using the cryptocurrency platform OneOf, a new Green NFT platform built specifically for the music.

Skies the Limit: The Notorious B.I.G. NFT Collection is the first generative NFT collection to feature the legendary rapper. The collection, comprising unique 3-D artwork influenced by Biggie’s life and music. This will be available starting July 2 on OneOf’s website.
A special bonus awaits anyone who purchases the NFT. Buyers of the NFT will also receive an audio license for Biggie’s previously unreleased Fulton Street Freestyle, which the rapper performed at age 17 on a Bed-Stuy Street Corner. Complex reports that a percentage of the money raised will be donated to the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation.
In an Instagram post from June 22, OneOf gave followers a sneak peek at the collection and urged them to sign up to reserve their spot in line and receive a free King of New York token.
