TIDAL reached 1 Million Subscribers and Jay Z wants to celebrate!
Ever since TIDAL launched in March of this year, it has been a roller-coaster. People criticized the music streaming service every chance they get. However, Jay Z is getting the last laugh, TIDAL has just passed a major milestone. Mr.Carter took to twitter to announce that his streaming service is PLATINUM, one million subscribers and counting.
“Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists” Tidal is platinum. 1,000,000 people and counting. Let’s celebrate 10/20 Brooklyn.
To celebrate TIDAL’s1 million subscribers, Jay Z is teaming up with HTC and holding a concert called “TIDAL X: 1020” in his hometown Brooklyn at the Barclay Center on October 20th. The line up for the show is crazy, Jay Z is bring out the big stars for this one. It’ll feature performances from Jay-Z of course, Beyoncé, Prince, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Usher, T.I., Alessia Cara, Justine Skye, Damian Marley, Fabolous, Flatbush Zombies, and many more.
If you’re a Tidal subscriber, tickets to the celebration concert are on sale now. Members of the general public will have to wait until Friday 12P.M ET. to make their purchases.
Tidal is matching all of the proceeds from ticket sales and giving the money to selected charities through the New World Foundation, and they will also be taking donations from viewers while the concert takes place.
