With Megan finally stepping on big platforms to speak on the 2020 shooting, there’s one naysayer that’s still calling her bluff.
Wack 100 and the court of public opinion
Since the mysterious shooting occurred in July 2020 there’s been countless Instagram live rants, Twitter vent sessions, and shady song lyrics between Megan and Tory Lanez . As the case is still ongoing, a bit of a divide has started within the music listening world. Do you believe Megan, or do you believe Tory? Which artist still has your support once all the dust settles? Cali podcaster Wack 100 has certainly cast his vote.
It’s safe to say the trial is being seen in a new light Following Megan’s interview with Gayle King earlier this week (Apr 26). The Houston star fought through tears as she recounted that night and the mental aftermath of it all. But Wack 100 is still very skeptical.
Wack 100 posted a segment of the Megan interview in which she explains why she initially lied about glass causing her foot injury. The socialite doesn’t hold back in his response.
“Not only did we say you lied “YOU” said “YOU” lied.” He typed in an accusatory insta caption. “Now it went from saying you stepped on glass to a gun shot to the foot to I didn’t want them to Kill any of us!! I’m crying for @torylanez the REAL VICTIM !!”
He continued, “all this needs to stop No DNA or prints on the gun and she’s still going. Guess we can call it the little boy that cried wolf. After all a #Stallion is a #Colt at birthright!! hope that didn’t go over ya heads.” Stallion is simply regional Houston slang for a tall woman, and colts are male baby horses. Truly, a fiery message with a confusing ending.
When does it cross a line?
This is far from the first time Wack has publicly condemned Megan. Back in March, he claimed Tory will be acquitted and will counter sue the ‘Savage’ rapper for slander. “Once Tory’s acquitted, you know, it’s an old saying, you may laugh now but we’ll see who laughs the loudest later” 100 said on the Wylin Plug podcast.
Upon posting the Gayle King clip, Wack 100 proceeded to post another declaration of his support for Tory. “@torylanez THE PEOPLES CHAMP Y IF WE DON’T PROTECT US WE CANT BLAME THEM” the caption reads under a pic of the ‘Say It’ singer. To say that Wack is #teamtory is an understatement.
Although his own Instagram comments seem to agree, Twitter is jumping to Megan’s defense. Many are pointing out Wack’s tendencies to fixate on negative celeb drama.
The West Coast native has been in the headlines recently for a variety of strange claims. Just recently, he claimed the late Nipsey Hussle starred in a gay sex tape and was a victim of extortion. In an earlier interview, he claims New York’s own Biggie Smalls didn’t die a legend. It can’t be denied, Wack isn’t afraid of unpopular opinions.
Whether you believe Megan or not, the trial marches on. As the world waits on Tory’s day in court, all we can do is hope for justice to prevail over gossip.
